Book of Mormon Verses Translated
π️ Intro
You and I were never told to trust in men.
We were told to trust in Christ—the Peacemaker.
Not in the structure, but in the Spirit.
Not in the nameplate, but in the Name.
This isn't a takedown.
It's a recovery mission.
A way to hear the Book of Mormon with fresh ears—
not through the lens of a system, but through the Spirit that first gave it breath.
Sometimes, it takes the Nemenhah to help us un-hear what the institution has layered over.
Let’s walk verse by verse… side by side.
πΉ 1. 2 Nephi 31:21 — “There is none other way…”
Book of Mormon: Salvation comes only through Christ.
LDS View: Salvation begins with Christ—but comes through ordinances in His Church.
Nemenhah Reminder: Salvation isn’t managed by men. The Peacemaker gives it directly.
πΉ 2. 3 Nephi 11:21–22 — “He gave them power to baptize…”
Book of Mormon: Christ gives authority with His own voice.
LDS View: Authority is passed down through priesthood lines—via keys held by the prophet.
Nemenhah Reminder: Real power still comes from Him personally—not by office, but by presence.
πΉ 3. Mosiah 18:10, 17 — “If this be the desire of your hearts…”
Book of Mormon: Church begins with believers, not bureaucracy.
LDS View: True church membership must come through formal baptism and confirmation by priesthood holders into the institution.
Nemenhah Reminder: A gathering of believers in Christ is His Church—no 501(c)(3) required.
πΉ 4. 3 Nephi 27:8 — “If it be called in my name…”
Book of Mormon: His Church bears His name and His gospel.
LDS View: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His one true church because of the name.
Nemenhah Reminder: It’s not about saying His name—it’s about living His way.
πΉ 5. Moroni 6:1–4 — “Worthy of baptism…”
Book of Mormon: Sincere repentance qualifies a soul for baptism.
LDS View: Worthiness must be evaluated by a bishop before ordinances.
Nemenhah Reminder: Only the Peacemaker knows a heart. There is no gatekeeper but Him.
πΉ 6. Alma 13:3–5 — “Called and prepared…”
Book of Mormon: Holy callings come by faith and foreordination.
LDS View: Offices and callings are structured and appointed through Church leadership.
Nemenhah Reminder: True calling is spiritual—gender, age, race, position don’t qualify or disqualify.
πΉ 7. 3 Nephi 18:36–37 — “He gave them power to give the Holy Ghost…”
Book of Mormon: Power to give the Holy Ghost is from Christ.
LDS View: The gift of the Holy Ghost must be given by priesthood authority through Church confirmation.
Nemenhah Reminder: The Holy Ghost cannot be handed out by men—only received in truth and brokenness.
πΉ 8. Mosiah 2:17 — “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings…”
Book of Mormon: Service = godliness.
LDS View: Service is structured—callings, assignments, ministering roles.
Nemenhah Reminder: True service flows from love, not from a schedule or obligation.
πΉ 9. Moroni 10:8–19 — “Deny not the gifts of God…”
Book of Mormon: All believers can receive gifts—healing, prophecy, revelation.
LDS View: Spiritual gifts operate under priesthood boundaries; new revelations must align with Church leadership.
Nemenhah Reminder: Dreams and visions aren’t reserved for the few. They’re a birthright of the faithful.
πΉ 10. 2 Nephi 28:5–6, 12 — “We need no more of the word of God…”
Book of Mormon: A warning against spiritual complacency.
LDS View: The Church has a living prophet; continued revelation comes through him alone.
Nemenhah Reminder: When any church says “we’ve got enough”—the Spirit is already moving elsewhere.
πΏ BONUS – Direct Nemenhah Warning
“They shall be convinced they cannot approach the Peacemaker except through the hands of men.”
— Tsihohnayah 14:47–49
That’s the quiet apostasy right there.
When the path to Christ is rerouted through men,
the veil is replaced with a system.
And the Spirit mourns.
π Part 2: More Verses — More Contrast
Scripture | Book of Mormon | LDS Overlay | Nemenhah Insight |
---|---|---|---|
Mosiah 26:22–23 | Repentance = Salvation | Must remain active and worthy in the Church | It’s a heart walk—not membership |
Alma 32:28–43 | Faith is tested and grown | Faith includes sustaining leaders and policies | Only God validates faith—by growth |
Mosiah 27:25–26 | Be born again | Baptism is the start—followed by lifelong compliance | No ritual forces this—it's spiritual rebirth |
3 Nephi 17:3 | Ponder and prepare at home | Learning comes from manuals and meetings | The most sacred lessons happen privately |
Alma 5:14–15 | Have His image in your countenance | Worthiness = obeying the standards | The image shows in love, humility, and Spirit |
3 Nephi 18:22–24 | Don’t forbid worship | Temple recommends and dress standards apply | No one is barred from Christ’s table |
Helaman 3:35 | Sanctification through yielding | Growth by enduring programs and callings | It's about inward surrender—not outward rank |
3 Nephi 12:1–2 | Receive fire by hearing Christ | Fire comes after confirmation and obedience | The fire still falls—where hearts are broken open |
Ether 3:13 | The Lord revealed Himself | That was rare—meant for prophets | He still shows Himself to the pure in heart |
Moroni 10:3–5 | Ask God and He’ll tell you | Use this to gain testimony of the Church | Ask again. And again. He still speaks. |
π₯ Final Thought
This is not rebellion.
It’s remembrance.
We’re not rejecting the Book of Mormon.
We’re letting it speak—without filters, without fences.
The Nemenhah Records don’t replace scripture.
They remind us what the scripture always said.
π️ The Church says:
Follow the prophet. Stay in the boat. Trust the keys.
π The Book of Mormon says:
Hear Him. Come unto Christ. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
πΏ The Nemenhah says:
The Peacemaker still walks with the lowly. Still speaks to the broken. Still chooses the meek.
And He’s not behind a podium.
He’s standing at the door.
If you've felt Him knocking—
You're not alone.
Let’s open it.
Let’s walk.
