Healing and Deliverance --- What Jesus Came to Do

🕊️ Healing and Deliverance

Beauty for Ashes. Freedom for Captives. Zion Rising.

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me..."
"...to bind up the brokenhearted..."
"...to set the captives free."
— Isaiah 61:1–3

🔥 What Jesus Came to Do

This passage isn’t just beautiful.
It’s the mission of the Messiah.
It’s what Jesus read out loud in the synagogue, saying:
“Today this is fulfilled.”

He wasn’t quoting prophecy.
He was fulfilling it.
Right there.
For them…
And for you.

The Nemenhah call Him Ahmohnayah — the Peacemaker.

“He took upon Him our infirmities, and by the shedding of His blood, the very soul of the earth was healed… And through Him, we also may be healed, in body and in spirit, if we shall come unto Him in sacred manner.”
— Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm, Ch. 11

⚔️ Love Story in a War Zone

John Eldredge reminds us:

“You live in a love story, but it’s set in a very dangerous war.”

The Nemenhah say the same:

“There is war in the land and in the soul, and the adversary walks to and fro, seeking whom he may deceive and destroy. Therefore, stand ye in holy places and be not moved.”
— Ohahnahpah, Ch. 6

Deliverance isn’t optional.
Healing isn’t casual.

It’s the rescue of your soul from spiritual captivity.

And your union with Jesus is what the enemy fears most.

“The devil fears a soul in union with God as he fears God Himself.”
— John of the Cross

🐑 Sheep Among Wolves

“I send you out like sheep among wolves.” — Matthew 10:16

Sheep need a Shepherd.
Otherwise, they’re prey.

This is why the Nemenhah teach cleansing and consecration as daily practices — like brushing your soul clean.

“Ye shall cleanse thy body and thy soul with the pure water and the pure oil, and ye shall present thyself before the Lord, saying: I am thine. Take me and make me holy.”
— Sohahb, Ch. 3

We don’t want to give the enemy any foothold.
No secret sin. No resentment. No dark corners.

🛐 Consecration: Bringing It All Back to Jesus

“Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice…”
— Romans 12:1

The Nemenhah echo this:

“Let there be no dark corner in me.”

So here’s a prayer to say with open hands and a hungry heart:

🩸 A Prayer of Consecration

Lord Jesus,
I belong to you.
You have purchased my life with your blood.
I return it all to You.

I consecrate to you my spirit, soul, and body.
My thoughts, my emotions, my will.
My wounds, my memories, my relationships.

Cleanse me with your blood.
Wash away every claim of the enemy.
Sanctify me through and through.
I especially consecrate our union, Jesus—
my ability to hear You, see You, walk with You.

Let there be no dark corner in me.

What part of your life needs brought back under His care?
That’s where to begin.

👂 Children Hear Him Too

Our 9-year-old grandchild heard Him.
Tears flowed.
Jesus spoke eternal words right into their heart.

The Nemenhah tell us this is normal:

“Even the young children began to see visions and dream dreams. And they spake one with another of the things of God, and of angels, and of peace.”
— Shi-Tugohah, Ch. 9

Let’s not dismiss our children’s encounters.
Let’s fan them into flame.
Let’s teach them how to hear the Shepherd’s voice.

🕰️ Try the “One Minute Pause”
Small space. Big healing.

🪨 Zion Begins in the Heart

The Nemenhah say healing isn’t just for comfort — it’s for building Zion.

“Every healing that is made in the heart of man is a stone laid in the walls of Zion. When the people are made whole, Zion shall rise up and be established.”
— Paorah, Ch. 4

When you’re delivered...
When your child hears Jesus...
When your past is washed and restored...

That’s not just personal.
It’s prophetic.

Zion is built out of healed hearts.

🌱 Final Thought

You were made for union with Jesus.
But it must be fought for.

Healing and deliverance are not fringe topics.
They are the very heart of His mission.

And if you’ve ever wondered why life feels so hard sometimes…

It’s because heaven is fighting to get you back.

Ask not what the Savior can do for you…
Ask what you can do for the Savior.

He’s already moving.
Healing.
Calling.
Delivering.

🪨 Will you let Him place your heart into Zion’s wall?
