Walking with Jesus “This is the covenant path no one told you about—sealed not by ceremony, but by fire, tears, and the voice of Christ.”

Walking with Godfrey – Volume Two

This isn’t a manual. And it sure isn’t a movement.

It’s a witness.

A walk.

The kind you take when no one’s watching… but God.

He gave me the name Godfrey. Not from my bloodline, but from His.

It came in the fire. It came in the silence. It came when I was out of strength and full of ache.

And it meant something simple and staggering:

You are Mine.

This volume is about that walk. The walk not talked about in lessons or leadership meetings.

The covenant path that begins when the checklist burns up and all you have left… is Him.

It’s not rebellion. It’s restoration.

If you’ve ever sat alone in a chapel and wondered, “Where is the Spirit?” If you’ve ever stood in the wind and heard more from God than you did in a classroom… You’re not crazy.

He’s still calling.

So let’s walk.

Not to a building. Not to a pulpit. But into the fire. Into the whisper. Into the real Zion.

He’s already waiting. Volume Two of “Walking with Godfrey” goes deeper into the journey most won’t talk about—the quiet, holy, sometimes brutal path of true covenant. Not the checklist version taught in manuals, but the one carved by fire, sealed in Spirit, and walked with the Living Christ Himself. This isn’t about leaving faith behind—it’s about finding the faith that was always meant to burn. If you’ve ever felt the gap between religion and revelation, between the building and the Spirit, you’re not alone. He’s still calling. And this book is a witness: Jesus still walks with the willing—off the map, into the fire, and straight into Zion.

Walking with Godfrey: Volume Two – The Covenant Path That No One Talks About

This book says “Walking with Godfrey” on the cover… But truth is, it’s really about walking with Jesus.

The name Godfrey was given to me by the Lordnot from a family tree, but from a covenant.

He whispered it during one of the hardest stretches of my life. And I took it as a sign:

I belonged to Him.

But the real story here isn’t about me. It’s about the One who walks with me.

This book isn’t polished.

It’s not trying to prove anything.

It’s just my witness of what happens when you get quiet enough to hear the Lord, and brave enough to follow Him wherever He leads.

It’s about the path I was never told about.

The kind that doesn’t fit in church manuals.

The kind that starts with heartbreak and ends with holiness. The kind where you’re not just baptized in wateryou’re baptized in fire.

I still love many of the things I was taught. I love the Book of Mormon.

I love Jesus Christ.

Page 3 But somewhere along the line, I realized I had more religion than revelation. More structure than Spirit.

And that’s when He started speaking again.

You’ll find some stories in here.

Some scriptures.

Some truth that might make you uncomfortable. That’s okay.

If you’ve ever felt like the show isn’t working anymoreif you’ve ever thought, “There’s got to be more…” you’re not crazy.

There is more.

And it’s not in the spotlight. It’s in the secret place.

So that’s what this book is.

It’s a map drawn in the dirt, a few signposts for the journey, and one man’s witness:

Jesus still walks.

He still talks.

And He still gathers His peopleone by one.

If you’re ready to walk a little deeper, welcome. He’s already waiting.

Page 6 Chapter 1: Not in Temples Made with Hands

I used to think the temple was the only place God could really speak. It’s what I was taught.

And to be honest, for a while, I felt Him there.

But over time… something shifted.

I kept going. I kept trying.

But the stillness I used to feel started showing up somewhere else.

Not in the building.

But in the quiet moments alone—out in the wind, the field, the pain, the prayer.

One day, in a prayer that didn’t follow any script, I felt Him say:

“You don’t have to come to Me in stone. I’ll meet you in Spirit.”

That stopped me cold. Because it wasn’t rebellion. It was invitation.

Don’t get me wrongI’m grateful for the sacred experiences I’ve had in temples. But I’ve learned something deeper:

The Lord isn’t bound by walls.

He goes where the willing heart is.

And sometimes, He walks with us in places we least expect.

Page 7 A ranch road.

A hospital room.

A quiet morning before anyone else is awake.

In the Nemenhah Records, it says:

“They did sanctify the earth beneath their feet, that it might become holy unto the Lord.”

—Book of Tsihohnayah, Chapter 13

That verse changed me.

Because I realized—I can meet Him right where I am.

If the Lord wants to visit you in the temple, He will.

But He can also visit you in your truck. In your trial.

In your tears.

Because holiness isn’t about the place. It’s about His presence.

Page 8 Chapter 2: The Invisible Baptism

I got baptized when I was eight. White jumpsuit, water, done. They said I had the Holy Ghost.

But I didn’t.

Not until laterWhen life fell apart.

When I was laid out in a hospital bed, hooked up to tubes, out of strength, out of hope.

That’s when He came.

Not loud.

Just a quiet burn.

A warmth in my chest. A voice in my mind.

He said:

“You are Mine.”

And I knew. Right then.

That was the fire.

The real baptism.

The kind you don’t plan for.

The kind that remakes you from the inside out.

Page 9 Chapter 3: The Covenant Path You Never Hear About

They taught me a version of the covenant path:

Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Holy Ghost, Endure to the end.

It was clean. Neat. Safe.

But that’s not how it happened for me.

Mine went more like:

Fall down. Cry out. Get burned. See light. Hear truth. Be changed.

The real path isn’t a straight line.

It’s a wrestle.

A purging.

A walk with Jesus, not a checklist for men.

He gave me a name—Godfrey.

He walked with me in the fire.

He sealed me in Spirit, not ceremony.

And once you’re sealed by Him, there’s no going back.

Page 10 Chapter 4: When God Speaks Plainly

I used to think God only spoke to prophets. Big-time people. Suits. Titles. Offices.

But then He spoke to me.

No lightning. No fanfare.

Just truth—plain and personal.

He didn’t use church words. He didn’t beat around the bush. He said things like:

“Stop trying to please everyone.”

“Get up.”

“Let it go.”

“That’s not of Me.”

“You already know what I told you. Do it.”

And once I started listening...

I realized He’d been speaking all along. I’d just been too noisy to hear it.

The scriptures call it a “still small voice.”

But I’ll tell you—when it comes, it can hit like a hammer. Not because it’s loud.

But because it’s true.

And truth slices through everything.

I used to pray fancy.

Now I just talk to Him straight.

Page 11 And guess what? He talks back.

Not every day.

Not always the way I expect. But when it matters—He’s there.

And when He speaks, it’s not vague. It’s clear. It’s firm. And it sticks.

So if you’re wondering, “Does God really talk to people like me?” Here’s my answer:

He already is.

The question isAre you still enough to hear Him?

Page 12 Chapter 5: Holy Ground in Ordinary Places

I thought holy meant formal.

White clothes. Quiet halls.

The right words. The right setting.

But I found Him somewhere else. In places nobody labeled sacred.

Like a hospital hallway.

Like a ranch road with dust in my shoes.

Like a golf course—alone with the wind and my thoughts.

One time I felt Him while fixing a fence.

Another time while sitting on the porch with tears in my eyes. Another time with my head in my hands, saying, “God, I can’t do this anymore.”

And He said,

“You don’t have to. I’m here.”

That’s holy ground.

Not because it looks like a templeBut because He showed up.

And when He’s there, the ground changes. You change.

Page 13 Moses had a bush.

I had a broken chair, a golf ball, and an empty stomach.

Didn’t matter. God was there.

So don’t wait for a perfect place.

Just make room.

He finds holy wherever He’s welcome.

Page 14 Chapter 6: The Nemenhah Witness

I thought the Book of Mormon was the end of the story. Turns out, it was just the middle.

The Nemenhah Records opened a door I didn’t know was there. Same Jesus. Same Spirit.

But more light.

They don’t preach from pulpits. They don’t pass the plate. They just testify.

Over and over, they say:

“Come unto Christ.”

“Walk in peace.”

“Be sealed by the Spirit.”

“Sanctify the earth under your feet.”

“Build no church unto yourself.”

“The Lord shall teach you all things if you ask.”

I didn’t need a PhD to understand it.

I just needed to listen with my spirit on.

And when I did, it confirmed everything I’d already felt:

That the covenant path is real.

That the fire is real.

That Christ can walk with ordinary people—right here, right now.

Page 15 This record—this witness—was hidden for a reason. And now it’s coming out for a reason too.

Because there’s a remnant rising. Not loud. Not proud. But awake.

And when I read their words, It feels like family I forgot I had.

So I don’t read the Nemenhah to replace anything. I read it because it confirms everything.

Jesus is still speaking.

The covenant is still alive.

And the remnant hasn’t forgotten Him.

Page 16 Chapter 7: The True Sealing – Unto Christ

I used to think sealing meant marriage in a temple. White clothes. Big moment. Smiles all around.

But the real sealing—the one that saveshappens between you and Jesus.

It’s not recorded in a bishop’s office. It’s recorded in heaven.

When He seals you, you feel it.

Something shifts.

It’s not a ceremony. It’s a claiming.

He says:

“You are Mine.”

“I know your name.” “Walk with Me now.”

I didn’t know what was happening at first. It came during prayer.

During fasting.

During tears I didn’t plan on shedding.

But I knew—deep downHe had marked me.

Page 17 Not with oil.

Not with a certificate. But with Spirit and fire.

I’m not knocking ordinances. I’ve done them.

I’ve honored them.

But what I’m talking about goes beyond the veil.

This is what it means to be sealed unto Christ.

To belong to Him.

To hear His voice.

To walk where He walks.

Not somedayNow.

And once you’ve been sealed like that… No one can unseal you.

Page 18 Chapter 8: Zion Shall Be Redeemed by the Remnant

They told me Zion would come when the saints were ready. But I looked around… and we weren’t ready.

Nice buildings. Good people. But asleep.

Meanwhile, out in the margins, I saw the ones God was waking up.

The remnant.

No titles. No spotlights. Just hearts on fire.

People who didn’t need a stage to walk the covenant path.

People who’d been broken, but now heard the Shepherd’s voice and followed.

“Zion shall be redeemed by the remnant of Jacob.” —Book of Mormon, 3 Nephi 20:16 —And Nemenhah too, page after page.

The remnant isn’t loud.

But they’re real.

And when the world shakes, they’ll stand.

Page 19 Not because they’re specialbut because they’re sealed.

They’ve been taught of Christ. Not by institutions, but by the Spirit.

They’re gathering. Quietly. Boldly.

On ranches. In homes. On mountains. Even in the wreckage of their old religion.

Zion isn’t something you build with blueprints. It’s something God gathers.

And He’s doing it now.

Not in Salt Lake.

Not in Rome.

But in the hearts of the humble.

In the remnant.

Page 20 Chapter 9: Sanctified by Fire (Again)

I thought I already went through the fire. Turns out, that was just the warm-up.

The Lord didn’t burn me once. He burned me again.

Not to punish. To purify.

I’ve learned that sanctification doesn’t come cheap. It costs pride.

It costs comfort.

It costs everything I thought I needed…

but didn’t.

Sometimes it comes through illness. Sometimes loss.

Sometimes being stripped down so there’s nothing left but soul and Spirit.

I used to ask, “Why is this happening to me?”

Now I ask, “What are You making out of me?”

One night I couldn’t sleep.

Pain in my body. Fog in my mind.

Page 21 I just whispered, “Jesus, I’m tired.”

He said,

“Then let Me carry you. You’re Mine now.”

And I wept.

Because I knewthis wasn’t a trial anymore. It was a refining.

The fire doesn’t mean you’re cursed. It means you’re chosen.

Chosen to walk closer. To see clearer.

To be like Him.

And if He walked through fire for me, I can walk through some for Him.

Sanctified by fire. Again.

And maybe again after that. Until the dross is gone and only Christ remains.

Page 22 Chapter 10: The Voice in the Wind

Sometimes I prayed and got silence.

Sometimes I wasn’t even sure if anyone was listening.

But then came the wind.

Not the kind that blows trees aroundthe kind that moves inside you.

Soft.

Clear. Undeniable.

It wasn’t thunder.

It wasn’t some heavenly choir.

It was just Him… speaking plain.

Sometimes it was just one word:

“Wait.” “Trust.” “Go.” “Enough.”

Sometimes it came in dreams. Sometimes right in the middle of a chore, while I was doing something ordinary.

But the voice would come.

And I’d stop what I was doingbecause I knew who it was.

Page 23 The scriptures say He speaks in a still, small voice. I’d add:

Still, small… but piercing.

It cuts through noise.

It cuts through fear.

It cuts through the lies I’ve believed about myself.

One night I asked Him, “How do I know it’s really You?”

And I felt Him say,

“Because you feel Me—not just hear Me.”

And I did.

I felt peace.

I felt strength. I felt home.

You don’t need to be perfect to hear God. You just need to be quiet.

Because His voice still rides the wind.

Page 24 Chapter 11: Repentance with Real Teeth

Repentance isn’t just saying sorry. It’s surgery.

It cuts.

It bleeds. But it heals.

I used to think repentance was checking a box.

Feeling guilty.

Trying harder.

But real repentancethe kind that stickshas teeth.

It chews through your excuses.

It digs into places you don’t want to look.

It makes you admit what you’ve been hiding, even from yourself.

I’ve repented in my truck. In a field.

On the bathroom floor.

It wasn’t pretty. But it was real.

Page 25 God doesn’t want rehearsed apologies. He wants surrender.

He wants the kind of repentance that makes you different.

The kind that doesn’t need a bishop.

The kind where you come face to face with Jesus and say:

“I’m done pretending. Make me clean.”

And He does.

Not all at once.

But He starts.

And every time you turn back, He meets you.

Every single time.

So if you think repentance is weaknessyou haven’t done it right.

Because when it’s real, it’ll break you down…

and build you back stronger, softer, cleaner.

More like Him.

Page 26 Chapter 12: Becoming the Temple

I used to think temples were buildings. Stone. Gold. Quiet halls.

But then the Lord whispered,

“You are My temple now.”

At first, I didn’t believe it. Too unworthy.

Too broken.

Too human.

But He kept saying it. And I started to feel it.

Not pride. Not power. Just presence.

When I prayed, He filled me.

When I walked, He walked with me. When I cried, He stayed.

I used to go to the temple to feel close to God. Now I carry Him with me.

Not because I’m special. But because I let Him in.

Page 27 The veil isn’t in a building.

It’s in our hearts.

And once it’s tornonce you see who you really areyou’ll never doubt again.

Your body can be holy.

Your thoughts can be sacred ground. Your breath can hold Spirit.

You don’t need white clothes to be full of light.

You are the temple.

And if He’s in you… everywhere you go becomes holy ground.

Page 28 Chapter 13: The Gathering at the Edge of Zion

Zion isn’t going to come the way people expect. No big announcement.

No marching bands.

Just the quiet gathering of souls who’ve been prepared in silence.

I’ve seen it.

On dusty roads.

In small homes.

In off-grid places with no signal but heaven’s.

People who’ve been through fire.

People who love Jesus more than fitting in. People who stopped waiting for permission and started listening for His voice.

These aren’t the loud ones. They’re not trying to go viral. They’re trying to go home.

“And they shall be led by the Spirit, not by the hand of man.” —Nemenhah, Book of the Remnant

They’re gathering. Not in cities.

Page 29 Not in councils.

But on the edge of things.

At the edge of tradition.

At the edge of where religion ends and revelation begins.

Zion will not be built by the proud. It will be built by the broken who have been healed.

And when it starts rising, many won’t even see it.

But the remnant will. And they’ll come. Quietly. Faithfully. And full of light.

Page 30 Chapter 14: A God Who Weeps for Zion

I used to picture God as strong and still. Untouchable. Unshaken.

But then I met the real One.

And He weeps.

He weeps for Zion.

For what it could’ve been. For what we turned it into.

He weeps for the churches full of form without fire. For temples built while the poor go unnoticed.

For people who follow rules but not Him.

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem… how often would I have gathered you.” —Jesus

Same words now. Just new names.

“O Zion, Zion... how often…”

One night I felt it.

Not just sadness—His sadness.

It hit me so hard, I sat in the dark and just cried.

Page 31 Not for me.

For us.

For what we’ve missed while playing religion.

He wants to gather us. Hold us.

Heal us.

But we keep choosing control. Crowds.

Comfort.

He’s not angry. He’s grieving.

And yet… still hoping.

Still calling to the remnant. Still whispering to the willing.

Still walking with people like me. Like you.

Zion isn’t just a place. It’s a heart that breaks when God breaks.

And a soul that says:

“I’ll build what You wanted. Even if I build it alone.”

Page 32 Chapter 15: The Witness of One

At some point, you stop waiting for a crowd. You stop needing backup.

You just stand.

Because truth doesn’t need a committee. It needs a witness.

That witness might not be loud. Might not have followers. Might not get invited to speak.

But they know what they’ve seen. What they’ve felt.

Who they’ve walked with.

People ask me, “Who gave you the right to say these things?”

I say,

“Jesus did. He walked with me. That’s enough.”

The Nemenhah said,

“The voice of one is enough to stir the heavens.”

And it is.

Page 33 You don’t have to be famous to be faithful. You don’t have to be many to be mighty.

You just have to be true.

The Lord’s always used ones. One Nephi.

One Abinadi.

One Joseph.

One woman at a well.

So if you’re feeling alone, but you know He’s called youkeep going.

Your witness might be the only one in your family. In your ward.

In your town.

But it matters.

Because when the books are opened, He’s not looking for names on rosters.

He’s looking for hearts that were His.

You are His.

You walk with Him. And that’s your witness.

One is enough.

Page 34 Epilogue: The Quiet Road Ahead

If you’ve made it to the end of this book, you’ve walked a piece of the road with me.

But now it’s your turn.

This path isn’t about following me. It’s about following Him.

You don’t need a spotlight.

You don’t need a title.

You don’t even need to be sure of yourself.

You just need to take the next step with Jesus.

Some days will be full of fire. Some will feel empty.

But keep walking.

He hasn’t left you. Not once.

Not ever.

If anything in these pages rang truetake it to Him.

He’ll tell you what to keep, and what to set down.

Just listen. And walk.

Page 35 We may never meet on this earth.

But if you walk with Him long enough… we’ll meet again.

— Godfrey

Page 36 Appendix A: Where the Nemenhah Records Come From

People ask me, “What are these Nemenhah records you keep quoting?”

Here’s what I tell them:

The Nemenhah are a remnant people—descendants of Lehi who were taught by Christ in the Americas after His resurrection. Their records were hidden for a time, like the Book of Mormon, and were brought forth by the Spirit in our day—not through an institution, but by personal calling.

They didn’t write to start a religion. They wrote to preserve a patternHow to walk with God.

How to live in peace.

How to be sanctified.

Their words match the voice I’ve heard in prayer. They echo the truths in the Book of Mormon. They confirm what the Spirit already taught me.

I don’t use them to replace anything. I use them to remember.

Because the Lord said His people would speak again. And they are.

Page 37 Appendix B: How Jesus Becomes Our Father

Some people struggle with this one“Is Jesus our Brother, or our Father?”

The answer is: Yes.

He was born of the Father in spirit, but when He redeems usHe becomes our Father in covenant.

The Book of Mormon says it plain:

“Behold, I say unto you, that the time shall come when the knowledge of a Savior shall spread… and they shall be gathered… and then will I be their Father, and they shall be My children.”

—Ether 3:14

When you enter into His covenant, when you're born again through fire and Spirit, you take on His name.

He owns you. He bought you. He fathers you.

Not with distancebut with presence.

He becomes your Shepherd, your Rock, your Protector. You are sealed to Him.

And that’s a relationship more real than any bloodline.

Page 42 NOTE: A New Edition of the Nemenhah Records is Now Available

The sacred records of the Nemenhah have been compiled and released in two printed volumes, available now on Amazon. These editions are based on the original revelations and spiritual translations received long before artificial intelligence existed.

📚 Volume One https://www.amazon.com/dp/194603231X

📚 Volume Two https://www.amazon.com/dp/1946032301

They may also be available as Kindle eBooks soon—possibly by the time you read this.

If anything in this book has stirred your heart... if you’ve felt that there’s more—more truth, more restoration, more light—then I invite you: seek out the Nemenhah. Let the Spirit confirm what’s true.

I’m not here to persuade with clever arguments. I’m just telling you what I’ve seen and heard. I’ve walked with the Lord. I’ve felt the fire.

And I’ve found family in the dust.

Let them speak to you. Let the Peacemaker show you the Way. Welcome to the Remnant.
