๐ Prophecy Fulfilled – Part 2
Changed Writings & Corrupted Ordinances
๐ชถ Composite from Nemenhah Teachings:
“They will add to the words of the seer and take away the plainness to justify their own works. They will say, ‘It is the same work,’ but the Spirit has not spoken it.”
Sources:
Mohrhohnahyah 8:11 – The words of the seer will be twisted to justify works of men.
Mohrhohnahyah 4:7 – They will change the plainness of the word to rule over their fellows.
Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 13:10 – They will say, “The seer spoke thus,” but it is their own words, not his.
The Nemenhah warned us plainly: after Joseph restored the gospel, men would change his teachings to justify their own works.
๐ The Writings Changed
Section 132 is the most obvious example, but it’s not the only one. Even the temple ordinances were altered to fit a new agenda.
๐ชถ Composite Teaching (summarized):
“They shall say, ‘The seer spoke thus and so,’ but it shall be their own words and not his. For they will twist his sayings to bind the people.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 13:10)
Section 132 – The Perfect Fulfillment
Eight years after Joseph’s death, Brigham Young introduced Section 132 to justify plural marriage. But the Nemenhah (and Joseph himself) both testify this was false:
Nemenhah:
๐ชถ “They shall take wives to themselves, many wives, and say it is the will of the Lord. But the Lord has not spoken it, and they err, bringing upon themselves the curse of the Lamanites of old.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:5–6)
Joseph Smith:
“I had not been married scarcely five minutes… before it was reported that I had seven wives. What a thing it is for a man to be accused of committing adultery, and having seven wives, when I can only find one.”
(History of the Church 6:411)
Moroni:
๐ชถ “They shall change the plainness of the word to rule over their fellows.”
(Mohrhohnahyah 4:7)
✅ Prophecy fulfilled.
๐️ The Temple Endowment Changed
And it didn’t stop with Section 132. The Nemenhah warned that even holy ordinances would be corrupted:
๐ชถ Direct Quote:
“They will take the likeness of the true ordinances and change them, adding to them oaths I have not spoken, that they may bind men and women to themselves rather than to Me.”
(The Book of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn 1:23–24)
Think about it:
Joseph’s lifetime (1840s): Temple teachings were simple, focused on Christ, consecration, and covenants of the heart.
Brigham’s changes (1855): New oaths, penalties, and teachings were added—never taught by Joseph, never confirmed by the Peacemaker.
This isn’t anti-temple. It’s a call to return to the true pattern—the one Joseph began to restore and the Nemenhah kept intact.
๐งญ Reverse-Engineering the Truth
Here’s how the remnant works:
Start with the prophecy – The Nemenhah say ordinances would be changed to “bind men and women” to leaders.
Look for the history – Brigham’s 1855 endowment changes added loyalty oaths and secret penalties never taught by Joseph.
Test it with other witnesses – Joseph’s own teachings, the Book of Mormon, and the Nemenhah all agree: the true temple order is simple and points only to Christ.
If the Nemenhah were right about Joseph’s death, and they were right about Section 132—shouldn’t we look seriously at what they’re saying about the temple too?
๐พ An Invitation to Researchers
Brothers—Rob, Jeremy, Justin, others—this is fertile ground for real research:
✅ What did Joseph actually teach about the temple ordinances before his death?
✅ What were Brigham’s documented changes in 1855?
✅ How do the Nemenhah temple writings compare?
The Nemenhah have given us the key. Let’s use it.
๐️ A Prayer for Wisdom
Father in Heaven,
We love Your house. We love Your covenants. Show us what is true and what has been changed by men.
Give courage to those who will search these things out. Give us love for those who are not ready to hear yet. Keep us humble, and keep us focused on Your Son, the Peacemaker.
Help us build Zion—not on fear, not on control, but on love and truth.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Note on Sources
Some of these teachings are composites of multiple Nemenhah passages, drawn together to show the overall warning the prophets gave. With the new standardized Volumes 1 & 2 now out (and the eBook coming soon), we’ll soon be able to cite every verse exactly once searchable. For now, I’ve listed the main chapters where these teachings can be verified in your own study.
