The Woman Story
π️
A Gentle Command from the Peacemaker
There’s a moment in Chapter 8 of The Second Book of Tsi Muhayl that feels like it came straight from Heaven’s mouth to the ears of every good man who’s ever loved a woman rightly.
Tsi Muhayl was preparing the people for their Second Endowment—to pass through the veil, receive heavenly names, and walk with the Peacemaker in the Spirit while still in the flesh.
But before he sent them into that sacred journey, he paused.
And he turned to the men.
And he said something like this:
“Do not think you are higher than the women. They have already received these teachings. They are already sanctified. Their hands and hearts are clean. You must protect them—not because they are weak, but because they are holy.”

Priesthood Power Already in Them
In the Nemenhah Records, it’s clear:
The women held priesthood. Not by ordination from a man, but by inheritance from their Heavenly Parents.
They were decision-makers. Healers. Teachers of the Mysteries. Mothers of Zion.
But when darkness threatened to spread…
When war, persecution, and temptation came near the camp…
It was the men’s duty to rise up and shield the sacred feminine from defilement and harm.
Not because they were stronger—
But because the women were already set apart, and their work had begun inside the veil.

Scriptures from Tsi Muhayl – Chapter 8
“Behold, the women of the people have already entered into the preparation. For they did hearken early unto the Peacemaker, and did take upon themselves the garments and the tokens of holiness.”
(2 Tsi Muhayl 8:12)
“Wherefore, it is expedient that the men rise up—not to take dominion, but to stand between the women and the defilement of the world. For their purity is your stewardship.”
(2 Tsi Muhayl 8:17)
“And I say unto you: They are more sanctified than you, for they have already touched the veil. They have already supped with Him.”
(2 Tsi Muhayl 8:21)

Book of Mormon Parallels
Even among the Nephites, we catch glimmers of this same reverence:
- In Alma 56:47–48, the young stripling warriors testify that their mothers taught them faith—and it was because of their mothers that they did not fear death.
- Captain Moroni, the great defender of liberty, was called by God to protect their wives and children—not to rule over them, but to shield them from bondage (Alma 43:9).
- And in 3 Nephi 17, when Jesus saw the women and their children, He wept and blessed them first, filling the little ones with fire and angels.

Even Joseph Knew
Joseph Smith once said:
“If you live up to your privilege, the angels cannot be restrained from being your associates.”
(Joseph Smith, quoted by Eliza R. Snow)
He knew.
The early Saints knew.
The real Church of the Firstborn would be led by holy women and guarded by humble men.

So Let It Be Said
Men—
You were not given strength to dominate.
You were given strength to kneel beside the sacred.
Protect her.
Stand in the breach.
And never forget—
She already walks with the Peacemaker.
All we’re doing… is catching up.
