Thy Kingdom Come… or Already Here?

✝️ Thy Kingdom Come… or Already Here?

Why did Jesus teach two different prayers?
In Jerusalem, He said: “Thy kingdom come.”
In Bountiful, that line vanished.

📖 This wasn’t a mistake—it was a message.
Among the Nephites, His kingdom was already here.

🌍 JERUSALEM vs. BOUNTIFUL — TWO WORLDS, TWO OUTCOMES

🔥 Jerusalem:

  • Chained by pride, hierarchy, and Roman oppression

  • Priests fighting for control, people divided into castes

  • Miracles mocked, truth strangled by tradition

🕊️ Bountiful:

  • Humbled by destruction—ready to receive Christ

  • “No rich nor poor, but they had all things in common… there could not be a happier people.” (4 Nephi 1:3,16)

  • A society literally living the kingdom on earth

The Nemenhah Records confirm this pattern:

Ayahtsuhway (The Peacemaker):

“When the mothers did govern with love, there was no poor among them, for each family looked first to the needs of another. And the Haymehnay did whisper continually, and there were daily miracles.”
(Second Book of Tsi Muhayl, Ch.8)

Mohrhohnahyah (Moroni):

“Zion is no great city, nor temple of stone, but it is when a people are of one heart and one mind… and there is no ‘mine and thine.’”
(Book of Mohrhohnahyah, Ch.4)

🏔️ CORIANTON, MENTINAH & THE LONG-PEACE KINGDOMS

The Savior’s visit to Bountiful wasn’t the end of the story.

✨ Corianton & Mentinah:
The Nemenhah Records tell us Christ also appeared in these lands. These people embraced His gospel so fully that:

  • Peace lasted for hundreds of years—even longer than among the Nephites

  • No contention, no poverty, and daily communion with the Haymehnay

Ayahtsuhway testified:

“Because they kept the covenant without mixture, the Lord prolonged their days, and even the children’s children’s children did walk in peace.”
(Second Book of Tsi Muhayl, Ch.8)

🗡️ MORONI’S FINAL MISSION — FROM REMNANT TO LEADER

After the Nephites were destroyed, Mohrhohnahyah (Moroni) did not vanish into the wilderness forever. The Nemenhah Records reveal he journeyed to these peaceful lands:

“When I saw the remnant yet living in the land of Mentinah, my heart was healed, for they did keep the covenants we had forsaken. And the Lord made me a teacher among them, yea, even a leader, though I had sworn never again to lead a people to war, but to peace.”
(Book of Mohrhohnahyah, Ch.8)

This means the true kingdom of Christ didn’t die with the Nephites—it flourished among the humble who kept His commandments.

⚠️ WHERE’S THAT KINGDOM TODAY?

Look around us:

  • Divisions everywhere

  • Pride & wealth worshiped

  • Churches built for gain, not Zion

  • Miracles rare because of unbelief

Mohrhohnahyah saw this too:

“The Gentiles will reject this gospel after it is restored… for they will love money and fine apparel, and they will deny the gifts of the Spirit.”
(Book of Mohrhohnahyah, Ch.8)

Timothy warned:

“Woe unto those in the latter day who say, ‘We have enough, we need no more of His gospel!’”
(Book of Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm, Ch.14)

🙏 HOW TO BRING THE KINGDOM BACK

The way hasn’t changed:

✅ Repent – Be humble as a child.
✅ Be baptized by true servants – not just those with authority of men.
✅ Live His radical commandments – love, consecration, meekness.

Timothy gave us the key:

“Begin the kingdom now, even if only in your own house. For when enough houses are governed by the Haymehnay, behold, the Lord will call again the great gathering.”
(Book of Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm, Ch.13)

⏳ A PROBATIONARY TEST — START NOW

Ayahtsuhway’s reminder cuts deep:

“Do not wait for the great city of light, but live as if it has already come. This is your proving.”
(Second Book of Tsi Muhayl, Ch.8)

Every act of humility, consecration, and love plants a seed of Zion.

🔥 INVITATION

“Thy kingdom come” was a plea for a future hope.

But “Thy kingdom is here” is a call to live it now.

Will you choose Jerusalem—divided, proud, waiting for someone else to fix it?
Or Bountiful, Corianton, and Mentinah—humble, united, ready for miracles?

The Savior is waiting. Begin the kingdom in your own heart today.

🙏 A PRAYER FOR THE KINGDOM

    O Father in Heaven,
Make us humble as the children in Bountiful.
Teach us to lay down our pride, our riches, and our anger,
Until there is no “mine” and “thine,” only “Thine.”

Send Thy Haymehnay to whisper in our hearts each day,
That we may see miracles again and live as Thy people lived—
in peace, in love, with one heart and one mind.

Help us begin the kingdom in our own homes,
Even if the world mocks us, even if we stand alone.
Make us mothers and fathers of Zion, builders of the City of Light.

And when the day comes, Lord Jesus,
Walk among us again, as You did in Bountiful, Corianton, and Mentinah.
Let us be found ready, our lamps lit, our hearts pure, our hands clean.

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory—
not someday, but now, if we will receive it.

🕊️ Come, Lord Jesus, and let Thy kingdom live in us today.
