Thy Kingdom Come – When the Kingdom Really Comes

πŸ•Š️ Thy Kingdom Come – When the Kingdom Really Comes

“Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.”

— Matthew 6:10

The Savior prayed that in Jerusalem.

He planted seeds under Roman rule,
changing hearts, not governments.
The world wasn’t ready for His kingdom yet.

But after His resurrection…
something changed.

✨ The Prayer Changed

When He came to the Nephites,
He didn’t pray for the kingdom to come anymore.

Instead He said:

“Father, I thank thee that thou hast given the Holy Ghost…
I pray for them, that they may be purified in me,
that I may be in them, as thou art in me,
that we may be one.”

He wasn’t asking for the kingdom to come—
it had already come.

The Lord’s Prayer shifted,
because His kingdom was no longer a hope…
it was alive in the hearts of His people.

🌿 The Secrets of Zion – Straight from 4 Nephi

The Book of Mormon tells us
why it worked for almost 200 years:

✅ No contention
“There were no contentions and disputations among them.”

✅ All things in common
“They had all things common among them; therefore there were not rich and poor, bond and free.”

✅ Miracles and joy
“Surely there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of God.”

✅ No more ‘ites’
“There were no… -ites; but they were in one, the children of Christ, and heirs to the kingdom of God.”

That’s Zion.
That’s the kingdom.

But pride crept back in…

“There began to be among them those who were lifted up in pride…
because of their exceeding riches.”

And the peace ended.

πŸ“œ The Nemenhah Records – The Rest of the Story

This is where the story most people don’t know begins.

When the Nephites destroyed themselves in pride and war,
one man was left—Moroni.

Among the Nemenhah, his name was different: Mohrhohnahyah.
The name changed because these records were written in the tongue of the native people,
but the man was the same.

And he carried scars.

He watched his people fall.
He wandered alone for years, suffering what we’d call PTSD today—
grieving, hiding, praying.

Then, guided by the Lord, he found the Nemenhah.

Among them, this battle-worn prophet—
who once buried plates in Cumorah—
became a great prophet again.

He taught them the basics he knew so well:

  • How to talk with the Lord.

  • How to hear His voice personally.

  • How to keep Zion alive in their hearts,
even when the world around them fell apart.

The Nemenhah loved him.

And his words… oh, his words are some of the most tender, powerful teachings on the Lord’s voice you will ever read.

✍️ Mohrhohnahyah Speaks

The Wicked Will Destroy the Wicked

“The wicked destroy the wicked, and they call it justice,
but it is only pride fighting against pride.
But the Lord will save unto Himself a small flock,
and He will be in their midst.
They will hear His voice,
and He will whisper to them,
and they shall not be confounded.”

Numbers Don’t Make Zion

“Think not that numbers make Zion.
A hundred cities may lift up His name
and yet He not dwell with them.
But one small village,
where hearts are meek
and ears are open to His whispering,
is worth more to Him
than all the towers of kings.”

You Don’t Need to Fight

“You shall not need to fight
in the great battles of the nations.
The Lord will cause the proud to fall by the proud,
and the mighty to consume the mighty.
But you, my little ones,
shall be hidden in His hand
if you will but hear Him.”

Sit at His Feet

“He does not call you to great councils
nor to seats of honor,
but to sit at His feet.
Blessed are they who shall hear Him
when the world is loud with its boasting.”

πŸ”₯ The Pattern Repeats

The Book of Mormon is not just history—
it’s prophecy.

The Nemenhah Records confirm the same pattern:

⚔️ The wicked destroy the wicked.
🌱 The humble remain.
πŸ•Š️ And Zion rises quietly—
a small flock hearing His voice,
just as Mohrhohnahyah promised.

πŸ•Š️ Our Only Safety

The safest place on earth
isn’t a city,
a building,
or a church.

The safest place is His presence.

Close your eyes.
Ask.
Listen.
Do the little things He whispers:

“Pick up your socks.”
“Help your wife.”
“Give when I tell you to give.”

That’s how Zion grows—
one quiet choice at a time.

❤️ A Gentle Plea

The Savior changed His prayer once before
because His kingdom had come among the Nephites.

One day soon,
He will change it again.

This time—
if we’ll listen—
His kingdom will not be shaken.

The invitation is the same as it’s always been:

Ask.
Listen.
Do what He says.

That’s the kingdom.
And it can start in you today.

πŸ™ A Simple Prayer

“Lord, help us to be part of that small flock.
Teach us to listen when the world is loud.
Make us meek enough to sit at Your feet.
Bring Your kingdom into our hearts now,
so we will be ready when You come again.”
