To See His Face: A Quiet Invitation from Moroni, Joseph, and the Savior
π₯π️ To See His Face: A Quiet Invitation from Moroni, Joseph, and the Savior
This one’s from the heart.
I’ve read the scriptures. I’ve walked the dusty trails of tradition. I’ve tried the programs. But the closer I listen, the more I realize — it’s always been personal. Not institutional. Not distant.
It’s always been about Him.
π‘️ Moroni’s Invitation
In the Book of Mormon, Moroni says:
"And when ye shall receive these things… ask God… with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you." (Moroni 10)
And in the Nemenhah Records, under his name Mohrhohnahyah, he says:
“We saw Him. Even the Peacemaker. And He taught us the Way.”
Not someday. Not after death. Here. In the flesh.
And yet — many of us don’t see Him physically. But we feel Him. We hear Him.
The Nemenhah taught that we may behold Him in spirit long before the body is transformed. That His presence is not limited by the veil. That He walks with us — unseen but known.
I’ve known people who’ve seen Him in vision. I’ve heard His voice speak to my soul. I’ve felt His arms around me on a golf course.
He plays. He smiles. He teases — like He did with Peter. He’s real. He’s close.
This is not imagination. This is the Spirit.
π§♂️ Joseph’s Witness
Joseph said:
“It is the privilege of the children of God to come to God and see His face.” (TPJS)
He taught of the Second Comforter — not as myth, but as real:
“The appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ unto him… and the veil shall be taken from your mind.”
✝️ The Savior’s Voice
He said it Himself:
“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8)
“I will come unto you… I will manifest myself unto him.” (John 14:21)
“This is life eternal, that they might know thee… and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3)
No disclaimers. No delay. He meant it.
πͺ Moses and the Golden Calf
When Moses went up the mount, he received the higher commandments — the ones that lead directly to Christ. But while he was there, the people turned away and built a golden calf.
That’s always been the pattern.
Heaven invites us upward, and we get distracted. We build systems. Statues. Programs. Calves.
But Moses, like Moroni, like Joseph, pointed the way to the Lord. Not to themselves. Not to religion.
π️ What Must We Do?
It’s not complicated. But it’s not easy.
Repent. Real repentance — heartbroken, not checklist.
Be baptized — not just in water, but in fire.
Receive the Holy Ghost — not just a hand on the head, but a burning in the bones.
Love. Forgive. Consecrate. Let go.
Seek Him. Ask. Knock. Keep asking. Keep knocking.
And then wait. And then believe.
Even before the full transformation of the body — we can know Him. Even now.
πΏ A Final Whisper
Moroni wasn’t just a statue on a spire. He was a man. A prophet. A witness. And he still is.
He walked with God after the war. He taught the Way of peace. And he saw the Lord.
So can we.
No title needed. No calling required. Just faith.
The Way is open. He is waiting.
Come unto Christ.
