Who Has Seen Jesus Christ? — And Why It Matters to You

๐Ÿ•Š️ Who Has Seen Jesus Christ? — And Why It Matters to You

๐Ÿ”ฅ The Question We All Should Ask

Who has really seen Jesus Christ?
Not just heard about Him.
Not just felt good feelings in a meeting.

Who has looked into His eyes, heard His voice, and knows Him?

For years, we were taught that our leaders surely must have had these experiences.
They are “special witnesses,” right?

But the truth—straight from their own mouths—might surprise you.

๐Ÿ‘️ Most Leaders Haven’t Seen Him

Brigham Young. Joseph Fielding Smith. Heber J. Grant.
All admitted they had never seen Jesus in person.

The famous Lorenzo Snow vision?
Mostly secondhand, told years after the fact.

Even today, apostles are called “special witnesses of the name of Christ,” which—as Elder Bednar explained—means testifying of His gospel, not necessarily seeing Him.

That’s not bitterness. That’s their own words.

✨ But Here’s the Good News

Joseph Smith taught something far greater than passive trust in men:

๐Ÿ“– “You shall see my face and know that I am; and that I am the true light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”
(D&C 93:1)

This wasn’t just for prophets.
It was for all who would repent, humble themselves, and seek Him with real intent.

The early Saints believed this.
They expected to see God.
So what happened?

๐Ÿ”ฅ Lowered Expectations, Lost Promises

Over time, the focus shifted.
Today, we’re told to be content with “feeling the Spirit.”

Don’t misunderstand—the Holy Ghost is precious.
But He is supposed to lead us to Christ, not replace Him.

The Lord hasn’t changed.
His promises haven’t changed.
The only thing that changed is what we’re taught to hope for.

๐ŸŒ A Universal Promise — Not Just for Leaders

๐Ÿ“– “The Lord esteemeth all flesh in one; he that is righteous is favored of God.”
(1 Nephi 17:35)

๐Ÿ“– “Would God that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”
(Numbers 11:29)

๐Ÿ“– “For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism… then shall ye speak with the tongue of angels, and shout praises unto the Holy One of Israel.”
(2 Nephi 32:2)

God never intended for visions to belong to a spiritual elite.
He invites you to come.

๐Ÿ“œ The Nemenhah Records Agree

๐Ÿชถ Mohrhohnahyah (Moroni) — AYAHTKUHYAHT NEMENHAH, Chapter 4

“Think not that these great things are reserved for prophets only. Behold, all who are made clean in the waters of repentance and who follow after the Haymehnay (Holy Ghost) shall see with their own eyes and hear with their own ears the Peacemaker, for He comes to His own when they are prepared.”

๐Ÿชถ Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm, Chapter 13

“Timothy said: It is not enough to follow men who say they have seen. Seek Him yourself, for He desires to speak to you face to face. The Peacemaker will not deny the humble who come with a broken heart.”

๐Ÿชถ Hayneht Paynieht Ahkehkt, Chapter 2

“We did not wait upon councils to tell us when He would come. We made ourselves clean, and in our own lodges He came. Many women and even children beheld His face.”

These records echo Joseph Smith’s same invitation—
Anyone can see Him.

๐Ÿ›ค️ The Call to You

The Savior is not far away.
He is not reserved for the “top men” in Salt Lake.

The road is still the same as Joseph Smith taught:

✅ Repent deeply.
✅ Forsake sin.
✅ Call on His name with faith.
✅ Stay humble and keep His commandments.

And then…

“The veil shall be taken from your mind, and the eyes of your understanding shall be opened.”

๐Ÿ•Š️ D&C 93:1 – “You shall see my face and know that I am.”
๐Ÿ•Š️ 2 Nephi 32:2 – “Then shall ye speak with the tongue of angels.”
๐Ÿ•Š️ Mohrhohnahyah 4 – “All who repent shall see with their own eyes.”
๐Ÿ•Š️ Tsihohnayah 13 – “Seek Him yourself… He desires to speak to you face to face.”

๐Ÿ™ A Soft Invitation

**“Dear Jesus,
I want to know You—not just know about You.
I turn from my sins,
and I lay down every false hope in men.

Teach me to hear Your voice.
Prepare me to see You.

I believe Your promise that if I knock, You will open the door.
Help me be ready for that holy day.

I love You. I’m Yours. Amen.”**

๐Ÿ”ฅ This is the true Restoration.
Not robes. Not titles.
Just Him.

Will you seek His face?
