πŸ•Š️ The Lost Doctrines of Zion — And the Path Out of Condemnation

Sometimes the Lord’s word comes like a shout. Other times, it’s a whisper.
But either way, it cuts right through all the noise of our day.

And lately, I’ve been struck again by the plainness of what the scriptures say — both the Book of Mormon and the records of the Nemenhah. They speak with one voice: we are under condemnation until we return to the Doctrine of Christ and the baptism of fire.

πŸ“– What the Book of Mormon Says

  • Condemnation: The whole church was placed under it. “And your minds in times past have been darkened because of unbelief, and because you have treated lightly the things you have received” (D&C 84:54).

  • Baptism of Fire and the Holy Ghost: Nephi says, “then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Ghost” (2 Nephi 31:17). This is the new birth. Without it, we are not alive in Christ.

  • Secret Combinations: “Whatsoever nation shall uphold such secret combinations… shall be destroyed” (Ether 8:22). That isn’t history only — it’s prophecy.

  • The Remnant and Zion: The Lord promised that a small, humble flock will build the New Jerusalem: “The remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles… as a young lion among the flocks of sheep” (3 Nephi 21:12).

It’s all there — warnings and promises, side by side.

πŸ™Œ Personal Responsibility

Here’s the hard truth: no one else can walk this road for us.

Each of us must lay everything on the altar — our traditions, our comfort zones, our pride. The Lord said the sacrifice He requires is “a broken heart and a contrite spirit” (3 Nephi 9:20).

Nephi made it plain: “This is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved” (2 Nephi 31:21).

We can’t outsource our salvation. We’ve got to enter by the gate ourselves.

⚠️ Warnings for Our Day

  • Secret Combinations are here now. Different names, same power-hungry schemes. The Nephites fell by them. The Jaredites too. Will we repeat it?

  • True Prophets Are Rejected. Abinadi was burned. Samuel was cast out. Even Christ Himself was despised. Why should we expect better treatment for servants God may yet send?

The real test isn’t about recognizing a title. It’s about recognizing His voice.

πŸŒ… Hope and Promise

Here’s the good news:

The Father’s work will go forward. Zion will rise. The meek will inherit. The humble will be gathered. And the Spirit will pour out on the remnant with power and gifts.

It won’t be the mighty that build Zion. It’ll be the small, the quiet, the ones who say: Yes, Lord. Here am I.

πŸ“œ The Nemenhah Records as a Second Witness

The Nemenhah stand as a companion voice, echoing the same truths. They record the fall of peoples who once had the fullness — and the hope of a remnant rising again.

✔ VERIFIED scripture says:

“Behold, we did also fall away. For the people whom the Lord did restore, even they became lifted up in the pride of their hearts. Nevertheless, the Lord did make use of them, for they were industrious and cunning in organization.”
(Book of Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm, ch. 14)

The Nemenhah teach that the Doctrine of Christ is central:

“It is repentance and baptism, and the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost, and the baptism of fire which makes alive in Christ. This is the plain path, and there is no other.”
(Book of Mahnti, ch. 8)

And they emphasize Zion is not built by kings or priestcraft, but by families and communities governed by love:

“The mothers did govern, for they did seek always the peace of their homes, and the men did hearken unto them. For Zion cannot be established except it be founded upon the care of children and the peace of families.”
(Book of Tsihmlayi, ch. 2)

These words add their witness: condemnation is real, but so is redemption. And Zion’s redemption will be small, humble, and Spirit-filled.

✨ The Call Today

So maybe the biggest question isn’t Who will the servant be?

Maybe it’s this:
πŸ‘‰ Am I willing to be a servant?

Am I willing to hear His voice? To lay aside my own pride? To walk the plain path, even if it costs me everything?

Because Zion won’t be built on borrowed light. It will be built by those who’ve received the fire of the Holy Ghost and are alive in Christ.

And I believe — that’s where the true remnant is found.
