π New Records, Strange Stories, and God’s Seal of Truth --- Day 1
π New Records, Strange Stories, and God’s Seal of Truth
π From the very beginning, Joseph taught that “one of the grand fundamental principles of Mormonism is to receive truth, let it come from whence it may.” (TPJS 313). The Articles of Faith declare the same: “if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report, we seek after these things” (AoF 13). That means when new light appears, our job isn’t to fear it—but to test it by the Spirit. The Holy Ghost will confirm if it comes from the Lord, and that is the only test that matters.
When God moves His hand in history, it rarely looks “normal.”
A shepherd defeats a giant with a sling.
A fisherman leaves his nets to walk on water.
A farm boy digs up golden plates from a hillside in New York.
And now, in our own day, another story: Phillip “Cloudpiler” Landis, an ordinary man with an extraordinary calling, chosen to translate the Nemenhah Records—ancient writings of a remnant people in the Americas.
To the skeptic, it sounds unbelievable.
To the Spirit, it rings with truth.
π Prophecy of More Records
Both the Book of Mormon and the Nemenhah told us to expect new records:
Book of Mormon
“I shall speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel… and they shall write it… and it shall be manifest unto all nations.” (2 Nephi 29:12)
“These last records… shall make known the plain and precious things which have been taken away.” (1 Nephi 13:40)
Nemenhah Records
The Lord declared that though the Restoration people fell into apostasy, He still used them to scatter the Book of Mormon worldwide.
The promise was that more records would come forth as hearts became ready to walk again upon the Way.
We should not be surprised, then, when new voices rise from the dust.
π My Witness
Just as Joseph Smith could not have written the Book of Mormon, I know Phillip “Cloudpiler” Landis could not have authored the Nemenhah Records on his own.
The Spirit breathes in them. They expand on truths the Book of Mormon only hints at. They testify of Zion, consecration, the true Doctrine of Christ, and the place of women in God’s work.
And just as Joseph had Oliver Cowdery, Cloudpiler had Jonathan, his son, who helped preserve and type the words. Their combined effort reminds me of the sacred pattern: a seer, a scribe, and a people who must decide whether to believe.
π Why the Lord Used the LDS Church
The Nemenhah explain something remarkable:
The LDS Church was not perfect.
But the Lord saw their zeal, sacrifice, and order.
So He used them as a net to scatter the Book of Mormon across the earth, even while deeper truths waited to be revealed.
Missionary work, then, was part of the Lord’s design — even if the institution later stumbled.
π️ The Many Temples
The Nemenhah speak plainly about temples:
Temples built without the true order will not endure.
Ordinances, if altered, lose their saving power.
The true Refuge, the true Temple, is Zion itself — a people gathered in love, walking with the Peacemaker.
Bricks and mortar do not save. The Savior Himself does.
✨ God’s Hidden Pattern
Here is what first convinced me of the Book of Mormon’s truth: its hidden patterns of writing.
The prophets used an ancient form of teaching called a mirror structure — where ideas are spoken, then reversed, centering on the most important truth.
Example (Mosiah 5:10–12):
Whoever does not take Christ’s name must be called by another name
— There is no other name for salvation
— Those not written in the book of life are cast out
— Remember to keep His name in your heartsWhoever does not remember removes His name from their hearts
The message shines in the middle: only Christ saves.
The Nemenhah Records contain the same kind of structure. Prophecies about apostasy and restoration are told forward, then backward, centering on the rise of the Refuge — Zion.
These patterns are not accidents. They are the seal of God’s hand.
Alma 36 to the verse is a perfect example with the remembrance of the Savior is being the center.
π What We’ve Learned
From the Nemenhah Records and the Book of Mormon, these truths stand clear:
Missionary work had a purpose. The LDS Church was a net cast wide, preparing hearts.
Temples are not Zion. Zion is the living temple of God’s people, walking in love.
Strange stories are often God’s stories. Both Joseph Smith and Cloudpiler gave us accounts too wild to invent, yet too powerful to deny.
God leaves His fingerprints. In the hidden patterns of scripture, in the burning witness of the Spirit, in the rising of new records.
π Final Witness
The Book of Mormon was impossible for Joseph to invent.
The Nemenhah is impossible for Cloudpiler to invent.
Both are bound by prophecy.
Both are confirmed by the Spirit.
Both prepare a people for Zion.
And together they declare:
It is good for us to be here.

✍️ A Personal Word
There’s a great test coming for us in the LDS faith — who will truly stand with the Savior? Even President Nelson has said we must hear the Holy Ghost for ourselves.
Not long ago, if you read and believed the Nemenhah Records, you could be excommunicated. But just a few months ago, the Church quietly shifted and now lists them as “apocrypha.” That tells me something is stirring.
I’ve tested these books with scripture, with chiasmus, even with AI, and the witness is always the same: they teach of Christ, covenant, Zion.
Yes, I’ve been accused of being deceived. I’ve had fingers pointed in my face. But my answer is simple: I love the Savior. I love the Lord. And I will stand with Him.
Brothers and sisters — the Lord is giving us more light, more voices, more records in our day. The question is: will you stand with Christ at this time?
Love you all. ❤️
