π New Witnesses Rising — Day 2
π From the very beginning, Joseph taught that “one of the grand fundamental principles of Mormonism is to receive truth, let it come from whence it may.” (TPJS 313). The Articles of Faith declare the same: “if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report, we seek after these things” (AoF 13). That means when new light appears, our job isn’t to fear it—but to test it by the Spirit. The Holy Ghost will confirm if it comes from the Lord, and that is the only test that matters.
π The Book of Remembrance of Melchizedek
Yesterday I told you how the Lord has preserved many sacred records for our day, and how we’re going to walk through them together.
Today, let’s open the first one:
The Book of Remembrance of Melchizedek: The Covenant Tablet of Shabuwa.
π Who Was Melchizedek?
We know him from Genesis 14 — the mysterious “king of Salem” who brought forth bread and wine, and to whom Abraham paid tithes.
Paul calls him a type of Christ in Hebrews 7, saying he was “without father or mother, without beginning of days or end of life.”
But that’s all most of us ever heard.
What if I told you that Melchizedek left behind a covenant record — a tablet of remembrance — passed down through the ages, preserved until now?
π What’s in the Record?
1. The Shabuwa Covenant (Sevenfold Oath)
Melchizedek taught that the covenant was bound in cycles of seven — every seven days, seven years, seven cycles. These rhythms were more than calendars; they were reminders of consecration.
“Every seven days, every seven years, and every seven cycles shall ye remember the oath of your fathers, to walk before Me in consecration.”
That ties beautifully with the Lord’s own words in the Book of Mormon:
“And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God.”
— 2 Nephi 31:21
2. Consecration and Zion
The record says plainly: Zion is only possible if the people live consecration.
“Ye shall have all things common, for in the Holy City there is no mine and thine, but all hearts are one.”
The pattern shows up everywhere:
The Nemenhah Records teach the very same thing.
The Book of Acts says: “And all that believed were together, and had all things common.” (Acts 2:44).
Zion is not an idea — it is a way of life, written in covenant.
3. The Higher Priesthood
Hebrews 7 tells us the priesthood of Melchizedek is greater than Levi, but the record explains why:
“The covenant of Melchizedek is the covenant of peace. Not sacrifice of beasts, but sacrifice of self. Not tithes of coin, but the offering of the whole heart.”
Doesn’t that sound like Christ?
“And ye shall offer for a sacrifice unto me a broken heart and a contrite spirit.”
— 3 Nephi 9:20
This is the higher law Joseph Smith pointed to but never fully delivered — because it was reserved for Zion’s time.
π Why This Matters Now
The Book of Mormon warned that other records would come forth when the Lord’s people were ready (2 Nephi 29:13).
This is one of those records. It’s surfacing now to teach us again what Zion requires: consecration, covenant, and the higher priesthood of peace.
π Want to Read It?
π If you’re truly hungry for the Book of Remembrance of Melchizedek, you can probably track it down with a little searching online. If you can’t find it, leave a comment and we’ll figure out a way to connect.
π Final Thought
This isn’t just a curiosity. It’s a covenant witness. Melchizedek’s voice is rising again in our day, calling us back to consecration, to peace, to Christ.
And tomorrow — we’ll turn to another record:
The Book of Remembrance of Our Ancient Grandmothers.
Their menorah covenant will surprise you, and it may just change the way you see Zion forever.

✍️ A Personal Word
There’s a great test coming for us in the LDS faith — who will truly stand with the Savior? Even President Nelson has said we must hear the Holy Ghost for ourselves.
Not long ago, if you read and believed the Nemenhah Records, you could be excommunicated. But just a few months ago, the Church quietly shifted and now lists them as “apocrypha.” That tells me something is stirring.
I’ve tested these books with scripture, with chiasmus, even with AI, and the witness is always the same: they teach of Christ, covenant, Zion.
Yes, I’ve been accused of being deceived. I’ve had fingers pointed in my face. But my answer is simple: I love the Savior. I love the Lord. And I will stand with Him.
Brothers and sisters — the Lord is giving us more light, more voices, more records in our day. The question is: will you stand with Christ at this time?
Love you all. ❤️
