πŸŒ„ 🌌 New Witnesses Rising — Day 8 πŸ“– The Book of Enoch

🌌 New Witnesses Rising — Day 8

πŸ‘‰ From the very beginning, Joseph taught that “one of the grand fundamental principles of Mormonism is to receive truth, let it come from whence it may.” (TPJS 313). The Articles of Faith declare the same: “if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report, we seek after these things” (AoF 13). That means when new light appears, our job isn’t to fear it—but to test it by the Spirit. The Holy Ghost will confirm if it comes from the Lord, and that is the only test that matters.

πŸ“– The Book of Enoch

So far, we’ve listened to Melchizedek’s covenant, the menorah of our Ancient Grandmothers, the higher law of Moses, the testimony of the isles in the Aklatan, the scattering in the Book of Nations, and the vision of the Sealed Book.

Today, we go all the way back — to one of the earliest prophets in scripture: Enoch.

🧱 Who Was Enoch?

Genesis tells us very little:

“And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”
Genesis 5:24

But the Book of Moses (Pearl of Great Price) expands his story, describing how he led a people so righteous they were taken up into heaven — Zion itself.

The Book of Enoch (also called 1 Enoch, preserved in Ethiopic manuscripts) fills in even more detail, and now has surfaced again as part of these last-days witnesses.

✨ A Taste of What’s Inside

1. Visions of Heaven

Enoch was shown the heavens, the angelic hosts, and the throne of God:

“And behold, I saw the heavens opened, and I beheld the Most High upon His throne, and the books of remembrance were opened before Him.”

That matches Daniel’s vision:

“The judgment was set, and the books were opened.”
Daniel 7:10

And John’s Revelation:

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened.”
Revelation 20:12

The witness is consistent across time.

2. The Son of Man

Perhaps the most striking part of Enoch’s record is its prophecy of Christ — called “the Son of Man”:

“And there I saw One like unto the Son of Man, and He was given a name before the Head of Days. And all nations shall fall down and worship before Him.”

This was written long before the New Testament — yet it matches perfectly:

“And I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven.”
Daniel 7:13

“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
Matthew 16:27

Enoch saw Christ — before Bethlehem.

3. Warnings for the Last Days

Enoch also saw the great judgments of the last days:

“And I beheld the earth in travail, and the mighty groaned, and the rulers fell. But the righteous shall be preserved, for the Lord shall make His habitation among them.”

This lines up with the Nemenhah:

“Though the nations shake and the earth reel to and fro, yet Zion shall not be moved, for the Lord dwelleth in her midst.”

The pattern is the same: warning, judgment, and the preservation of Zion.

🌎 Why This Matters Now

Enoch was one of the very first to prophesy of Christ, judgment, and Zion. His record was quoted by Jude in the New Testament (Jude 1:14–15) and remembered by early Christians, but later suppressed.

Now, in our day, his voice is rising again — calling us to prepare for the same destiny his city achieved: to be taken up, one heart and one mind, dwelling in righteousness.

πŸ‘‚ Want to Read It?

πŸ‘‰ If you’re truly hungry for the Book of Enoch, you can probably track it down with a little searching online. If you can’t find it, leave a comment and we’ll figure out a way to connect.

πŸ”‘ Final Thought

From the very dawn of time, Enoch saw Christ, Zion, and the final judgment. His record is a reminder that the plan has always been the same — faith, repentance, covenant, Zion.

Tomorrow we’ll close this series by looking at another record tied to the Brother of Jared — The Book of Achee. While it isn’t as ancient in origin, it carries devotional themes worth pondering about creation, repentance, and Zion.

✍️ A Personal Word

There’s a great test coming for us in the LDS faith — who will truly stand with the Savior? Even President Nelson has said we must hear the Holy Ghost for ourselves.

Not long ago, if you read and believed the Nemenhah Records, you could be excommunicated. But just a few months ago, the Church quietly shifted and now lists them as “apocrypha.” That tells me something is stirring.

I’ve tested these books with scripture, with chiasmus, even with AI, and the witness is always the same: they teach of Christ, covenant, Zion.

Yes, I’ve been accused of being deceived. I’ve had fingers pointed in my face. But my answer is simple: I love the Savior. I love the Lord. And I will stand with Him.

Brothers and sisters — the Lord is giving us more light, more voices, more records in our day. The question is: will you stand with Christ at this time?

Love you all. ❤️
