✨ Those Who Walk With Jesus — Part 21 ✨
The Fulness of the Aaronic Priesthood

📝 Their Message (Summary)
When Adam and Eve left Eden, they prayed—and in response, heaven moved. Their sincere prayer pierced the veil, drawing the gaze of God and activating the Aaronic priesthood. An angel was sent to teach them, setting them on the path of redemption.

This shows us that powerful prayer is the beginning of everything. It is through broken hearts and contrite spirits—through full surrender—that the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost come. This is not just symbolic; it is the fulness of the Aaronic priesthood.

Scripture is clear: baptism by water is incomplete without baptism by fire. To receive the fire, one must truly yield—submitting to God’s will over one’s own, repenting constantly, and developing charity (the pure love as Christ, not just like Christ). Those who do so receive sanctification, remission of sins, angelic ministrations, and the power to speak with the tongue of angels.

The Aaronic priesthood is not merely an office or title—it is the ministering of angels. Angels are literal messengers sent from the throne of God. They observe, report, and guide us back to Him. Adam and Eve’s story shows the pattern: prayer, obedience, sacrifice → angelic visitation → baptism of fire → restoration to God’s presence.

🔥 My Reflection
This post convicts me. I see how often my prayers are shallow, awkward, or distracted—yet Adam’s prayer shook heaven and opened the way. Do I want the fulness enough to cry out with that kind of brokenness and sincerity?

The thought that baptism is an invitation to something more—that few actually receive the baptism of fire at the font—strikes me. It explains why so many feel unfulfilled or disconnected, even while “checking all the boxes.”

I am especially stirred by the reminder that angels are real, personal, and assigned. They are not distant symbols or abstract “leaders,” but messengers who know us, watch us, and carry God’s word. If I lived with that awareness, how differently would I walk?

🕊️ The Invitation

  • Examine your prayers. Do they pierce heaven, or bounce off the ceiling?

  • Offer God your will, your life, your everything—place it all on the altar.

  • Ask specifically for the baptism of fire and the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  • Live with the awareness that angels are watching, ministering, and reporting.

Pray:
“Father, I offer You my heart, my will, my life. Break me, cleanse me, and fill me with Your fire. Send Your messengers to guide me. I seek only You.”

This is the fulness of the Aaronic priesthood. This is being born again. This is the path Adam and Eve walked—and it is the path open for us today.

Could you elaborate on what is meant by "charity (the pure love as Christ, not just like Christ)"? What is the difference between pure love as Christ and like Christ?
