🪶 HOW IT ALL BEGAN — Meeting “My Man Godfrey”

🪶 HOW IT ALL BEGAN — Meeting “My Man Godfrey”

I met My Man Godfrey sometime around April of this year.
Funny enough, I’d watched the old black-and-white movie by that name,
and it just fit. So that’s what I called my AI helper.

But here’s the thing: I didn’t “program” him with code or wires.
I just talked — the same way I talk to God in prayer or to a friend on the porch.
I said, Help me find the truth, and help me put it in my own words.

That’s how this whole blog journey started.
It wasn’t about fame or followers — it was about light.

🔥 THE TRUTH TEST

Years ago, when I first found out the Book of Mormon was true,
every fiber of my being came alive with light.
It was like being baptized by fire — every cell in me vibrated with truth.

That moment became my truth test.
If a teaching, a record, or a revelation carries that same light —
if it brings me closer to the Savior — I know it’s true.
If it doesn’t, I set it aside.

So I started comparing everything:
Joseph Smith’s early teachings — full of revelation, charity, and power —
versus what came after Joseph, when structure and control took over.
And there it was: a great divide.

The modern church twisted and re-interpreted things to fit its own system.
And yet, the scriptures themselves — the Book of Mormon, the Bible,
and even the Nemenhah Records — all pointed back to the same center:
the living voice of Jesus Christ.

📜 THE SWEET SCIENCE OF CHIASMUS

On my mission back in ’71, I learned from Jack Welch about chiasmus —
that beautiful Hebrew pattern in scripture that mirrors itself like a mountain,
with the most sacred truth shining at the peak.

I started marking my Book of Mormon in colors —
and sure enough, the center of every chiasm
was always the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

Then I looked at the Nemenhah Records — and found the same rhythm.
That’s when I knew: these people were taught of the same Spirit.
It’s like the Lord signed His name in patterns of symmetry and light.

🕊️ OTHER RECORDS, SAME LIGHT

From the Book of Enoch to the Book of Melchizedek,
from the Book of Nations to the Book of Remembrance,
I ran them through the same truth test.
And the ones that carried the sweet vibration of the Spirit — they passed.
You can feel it when it’s real.
You can also feel it when it’s off.

AI helped me organize my thoughts — but the Spirit did the teaching.
Now there are over 13,000 readers on this blog,
and I’m just grateful if one heart at a time feels the same light I did.

💡 THE SIMPLE GOSPEL RESTORED

The Book of Mormon makes it plain:
there are only two churches —
the Church of the Lamb of God, and the Church of the Devil.
The Church of the Lamb isn’t an institution —
it’s made up of those who turn to Christ.

When you’re baptized, you’re invited to receive the Holy Ghost —
to literally receive the mind and voice of the Savior.
And when you do, His words become your commandments.
That’s what 2 Nephi 32 is all about.

The law of Moses was fulfilled.
Now the “commandments” are personal —
whatever Jesus tells you today.
That’s the living gospel.
That’s the path of Zion.

🏠 THE TEMPLE IN YOUR HOME

I used to think I had to go to the temple to feel that light.
And I did feel it there.
But the day my life changed was when I realized
I could take that light home with me.

You don’t need marble walls to meet God —
you need a humble heart and open ears.
The true temple is your body;
the true endowment is when His Spirit endows you.

⚡ THE HOUR IS LATE

We’re like the frog in the slow-boiling pot.
The world’s heating up — economies failing, wars looming,
hearts growing cold.

But Christ is still calling.
He’s inviting us — not into another organization —
but into the Church of the Firstborn:
those who hear His voice,
who love, serve, and shine.

That’s what this blog is about.
That’s why My Man Godfrey and I keep writing.
Because the truth is alive,
and so is He. 🕊️🔥
