๐ Joy and Peace in a World of Contention — Revisited 2025
(A Living Continuation of Waking Up Zion)
๐️✍️ By The True Remnant
๐ THE WORLD STILL BURNS
I was asked again to speak of joy and peace.
But the truth is — the world still smolders.
Politics rage.
Nations shake.
Hearts harden.
Yet right here, under the smoke and static, the same quiet voice still says:
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
The cure hasn’t changed.
It’s the living water that flows only from Him —
and it begins when we learn to hear His voice for ourselves.
That’s what Waking Up Zion was written to show.
That’s how Zion is born again — one listening heart at a time.
๐ THE PATTERN STILL HOLDS
Adam and Eve taught their children to hear Him.
Enoch listened — and a city rose.
Moses climbed the mountain — and the people shrank away.
“You speak to God for us,” they said.
And ever since, mankind has been outsourcing revelation.
The Book of Mormon, the Nemenhah Records, and every true witness repeat it:
When we choose another voice over His, we wander.
When we hear Him ourselves, we move toward Zion.
That’s the pattern your soul already remembers.
That’s the awakening.
✝️ THE SAME VOICE RETURNS
Jesus walked among us.
He healed. He forgave.
He called us friends.
Through Joseph came the Restoration,
but the Lord warned that His people were under condemnation —
for saying but not doing.
That warning still stands.
And so does the invitation.
Waking Up Zion isn’t about rebellion.
It’s about finishing what He started —
the personal restoration that begins inside you.
๐ THE CYCLE CONTINUES — UNTIL YOU BREAK IT
The pattern of apostasy and renewal won’t stop
until a people finally listen.
Not to councils.
Not to trends.
But to the still small Voice within.
That’s what President Nelson meant when he said
we cannot survive spiritually without the Holy Ghost —
not the token, but the companion.
And that’s what Heber C. Kimball saw —
the great test that would sift us.
The test isn’t policy.
It’s proximity.
Can you hear Him?
๐ THE WARNINGS STILL APPLY
“Wo unto him that is at ease in Zion.”
(2 Nephi 28:24)
“Why have ye polluted the holy church of God?”
(Mormon 8:36–39)
These weren’t aimed at strangers.
They were aimed at us.
But don’t let that bring fear.
Let it bring focus.
Because the way back is still the Doctrine of Christ.
๐ค️ THE WAY BACK — THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST
Faith.
Repentance.
Baptism.
Receiving the Holy Ghost — truly receiving.
Not the performance of religion,
but the presence of the Redeemer.
That’s the heartbeat of Waking Up Zion —
not a formula, but a friendship.
๐ฒ LEHI’S DREAM — THE MODERN TEST
A man in a white robe leads Lehi into darkness.
Not all light is holy light.
Only the Voice from the Tree can guide you home.
The iron rod is more than scripture —
it’s the living word spoken to you each day.
That’s why I keep saying:
Don’t follow the robe.
Follow the Voice.
๐ฅ THE DAILY TEST
Hearing Him begins in small, ordinary acts:
Wash the dishes with gratitude.
Answer the prompting to call that friend.
Keep your prayer open all day — don’t say “amen” till night.
Let your life become the prayer.
That’s how heaven trains your ears.
๐ก BORROWED LIGHT WON’T LAST
No prophet, no pastor, no priest can lend you their lamp.
Oil doesn’t transfer.
The Savior is speaking now.
Listen.
Walk.
And you will find the same joy and peace He gave to Zion of old —
not escape from the world,
but light enough to walk through it.
๐ฏ THE INVITATION REMAINS
Love the Church.
But love the Savior more.
Don’t just read the Book of Mormon.
Live it.
Don’t just honor the Restoration.
Finish it — by letting it restore you.
Don’t follow the robe.
Follow the Voice.
And you’ll find what Waking Up Zion was written to testify of:
the moment when you realize
He doesn’t just wait in temples —
He walks beside you now.
In the name of Jesus Christ, amen. ๐
