✨ Those Who Walk With Jesus — Part 49 ✨
JESUS, My KING
📝 Their Message (Summary)
This post is raw, vulnerable, and full of tears. It begins with sadness—grief that the church leaders sustained as “prophets, seers, and revelators” no longer prophesy, see, or reveal. The writer admits that once they hoped, then grieved, and now they are simply heartbroken that no one else seems to care.
Where is the fire? Where is the passion for JESUS that compels people to shout His name with abandon? Where is the longing to hear Him speak our names, to be claimed as His own? Instead, church has become routine: attend, listen, serve, partake—checklists rather than life-changing encounters with the Living God.
The writer’s prayer bursts into worship:
JESUS, You are GOOD.
You are KING.
You are HOLY, the Mighty Lion and the slain Lamb, the Holy of Holies in the temple of my heart.
You alone are worthy.
And then comes the prophetic cry: Isaiah warned of a day when the people would say to seers, “See not,” and to prophets, “Prophesy not right things, but speak smooth things.” Paul warned that itching ears would gather teachers who soothe, not pierce (2 Tim. 4:3–4). The Thessalonians were warned of strong delusion, when myths would be embraced instead of truth (2 Thess. 2:11).
The writer cries out for the true lovers of Jesus—those nauseated by adoration directed to men, longing only for Him who is King. They plead for prophets who prophesy, seers who see, and revelators who reveal—not institutional administrators or speech-givers, but true witnesses of the Living Christ.
🔥 My Reflection
This is a lament, but also a call to worship. True discipleship is not about sustaining an institution or admiring leaders. It is about knowing the King. JESUS alone is worthy. JESUS alone is our shield and sustenance. JESUS alone will one day speak our names.
The sadness is real—but it is also an invitation. When the watchmen are silent, the Spirit whispers to those who hunger and thirst: “Those who seek Me with all their hearts shall find Me.” (Jeremiah 29:13).
This is the heart of Zion. Not programs, not conferences, not “smooth things.” Zion will only be established by those who have truly met Him, been purified by Him, and whose fruit He can lay up unto Himself.
🕊️ The Invitation
Refuse to be lulled by smooth words or myths.
Ask the Lord to purify your own fruit—that you may be stored up as His.
Worship Him with tears, with raised hands, with abandon.
Be willing to be the “watchman on the wall” even if others don’t care.
