๐ŸŒธ Sena of Japan & the Nemenhah Councils of Mothers

Two Nations, One Heavenly Pattern

Hello friends.

Today I want to bring two stories together —
one from the mountains of Japan,
and one from the mountains of the Nemenhah people.

At first they seem worlds apart.
Different lands.
Different languages.
Different histories.

But when you look with spiritual eyes,
you begin to see the same light shining in both stories —
a light that comes from mothers.

๐ŸŒธ 1. Sena — The Woman Behind a Nation’s Peace

In the drama of Japan’s unification,
most people focus on the great warlords:

• Oda Nobunaga
• Toyotomi Hideyoshi
• Tokugawa Ieyasu

But behind the battles…
behind the strategies…
behind the political marriages…

there was a woman named Sena.

She influenced a man who would later unify Japan
and usher in more than 250 years of peace.

Sena was not a general.
She was not a warrior.
She did not rule a province.

But she shaped something far more important:

the heart of a man who could bring peace.

Japan’s peace was not won by swords.
It was won by women who softened hard hearts
and showed a nation a better way.

๐Ÿชถ 2. The Nemenhah Councils of Mothers

When I read the Nemenhah Records,
I see this exact pattern again.

The Nemenhah Mothers:

• nominated their leaders
• selected the Councils
• determined when the people should gather or scatter
• preserved the sacred traditions
• taught the covenant way
• restrained pride
• maintained unity
• settled disputes
• protected children and family

There is a reason the Nemenhah say:

“When the Mothers speak, the land rests.”

Women were not background figures.
They were the foundation on which the entire society stood.

Their influence brought peace
just as surely as any military victory.

In fact… more.

Because when men bring peace,
it often ends when the next generation starts a new fight.

But when women bring peace…
it lasts.

That’s the Nemenhah Way.
And that was the Japanese Way.

๐ŸŒ 3. Peace Comes From the Same Spirit in Every Nation

Different cultures.
Different centuries.
Same pattern.

Whenever Heaven prepares a people for peace,
the Spirit whispers to the women first.

• In Israel → Deborah, Abigail, Esther
• Among the Lamanites → Abish
• Among the Nephites → the stripling warriors’ mothers
• Among the Nemenhah → the Councils of Mothers
• In Japan → Sena and the matriarchs of the clans

This is not accident.
This is covenant.

The Book of Nations says:

“Wherever peace is to be established,
the Peacemaker raises up women to teach the people
the way of unity.”

Japan’s Edo peace matches that pattern perfectly.

 4. Why These Two Stories Matter Today

Because we are living in a time
when the world is hungry for peace again.

And the Lord is once more raising up:

• mothers
• wives
• healers
• peacemakers
• quiet leaders
• spiritual anchors

Women who stabilize homes.
Women who soften men.
Women who refuse contention.
Women whose gentleness turns away wrath.
Women whose prayers change the destiny of families.

Sena did that for Japan.
The Mothers did that for the Nemenhah.
And the Spirit is doing it again today.

๐ŸŒˆ 5. The Pattern Is the Same Because Heaven Is the Same

People ask,
“Is there a connection between Japan and the ancient peoples of America?”

The deeper truth is:

The connection is Heaven.
The connection is the Spirit of Peace.
The connection is the Mother of All Living working through Her daughters.

Two nations.
Two histories.
One sacred pattern.

Where the mothers lead…
peace follows.

Always.
