If you haven’t watched the video yet, I suggest starting there.
This blog is for those moments when questions remain, answers feel incomplete, and yet the heart knows it wants to stay close to Jesus anyway.
As we walk with Jesus long enough,
something quiet begins to happen.
We still care about truth.
We still value understanding.
But we no longer need everything explained
in order to keep walking.
That’s not indifference.
That’s trust.
๐ฑ Faith Matures Beyond Needing Answers
Early in the spiritual life, answers feel essential.
Later, relationship becomes enough.
Jesus did not give His disciples a full explanation of everything.
He gave them Himself.
And often, that was all they had.
Peter once said something that captures this perfectly:
“Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”
(John 6:68)
Peter didn’t say he understood everything.
He said he knew who he trusted.
๐ Jesus Invites Following, Not Full Clarity
Again and again, Jesus said the same simple words:
“Follow me.”
(Matthew 4:19)
He didn’t say, understand everything first.
He didn’t say, have all your questions resolved.
He said, follow.
Following assumes movement
before full understanding arrives.
And that’s not a flaw in the gospel.
That’s the design.
๐ฟ The Book of Mormon: Faith Without Seeing the End
The Book of Mormon teaches this principle gently and clearly.
“Ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.”
(Ether 12:6)
Faith often walks before certainty.
Trust often comes before explanation.
If you are still walking,
still choosing honesty,
still choosing love —
the witness will come in its time.
๐ฅ The Nemenhah Records: Walking the Way Without Demands
The Nemenhah teachings speak openly about this stage of the journey.
The elders teach that those who mature in the Way
eventually stop demanding signs, certainty, or constant instruction.
They walk because they have learned
to recognize the Peacemaker’s presence —
even without words.
The Haymehnay (Holy Spirit) becomes a companion,
not a constant announcer.
Truth becomes something lived,
not endlessly explained.
๐ฑ When Questions Remain
If you find yourself here:
• still loving Jesus
• still unsure about many things
• still walking forward anyway
You are not stalled.
You are grounded.
The Psalmist expressed this kind of faith simply:
“I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.”
(Psalm 16:8)
Staying close matters more than knowing everything.
๐️ Peace Comes From Presence, Not Answers
One of the quiet gifts of walking with Jesus
is realizing that peace does not come from resolution.
It comes from presence.
If you know He is with you,
you can live with unanswered questions.
If you trust His heart,
you don’t need to control the path.
Jesus does not ask for blind faith.
He asks for relational faith.
๐ฟ A Gentle Closing Word
If this season of your walk feels simpler…
quieter…
less urgent…
That’s not loss.
That’s maturity.
You don’t need to rush ahead.
You don’t need to circle back.
You don’t need to prove anything.
Just stay close.
That has always been enough.
