If you haven’t watched the video yet, I suggest starting there.
This post is for those moments when the world feels shaky and you want to anchor your heart quietly, without being pulled into fear or urgency.
There are seasons when the world itself feels unsteady.
News cycles feel heavier.
Voices grow louder.
Certainty feels harder to find.
It can feel like the ground beneath daily life
is shifting.
And when that happens, many sincere believers ask:
How do I keep walking with Jesus
when everything around me feels uncertain?
๐ฑ Jesus Spoke Directly to Unsteady Times
Jesus never pretended the world would always feel calm.
He spoke honestly about upheaval, confusion, and fear.
And then He said this:
“Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
(John 14:27)
Notice what He offers.
Not control over events.
Not certainty about outcomes.
He offers peace —
a peace that does not depend on the world behaving well.
๐ Jesus Is the Same When Everything Else Shifts
One of the simplest anchors in scripture
is also one of the strongest.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
(Hebrews 13:8)
Circumstances change.
Cultures shift.
Institutions rise and fall.
But Jesus remains.
Walking with Him does not require the world to be stable.
It requires staying close.
๐ฟ The Book of Mormon: Built on a Rock
The Book of Mormon speaks plainly about times like these.
Helaman taught his sons:
“It is upon the rock of our Redeemer… that ye must build your foundation.”
(Helaman 5:12)
A rock doesn’t stop storms.
It holds steady through them.
Faith does not prevent shaking.
It determines what you stand on when it happens.
๐ฅ The Nemenhah Records: Steadiness in Times of Change
The Nemenhah teachings speak often of cycles —
times of peace followed by times of upheaval.
The elders teach that those who walk the Way
do not anchor themselves to systems or predictions,
but to the Peacemaker Himself.
When the world becomes loud and unstable,
the Way calls for steadiness, humility, and compassion —
not panic.
The Haymehnay (Holy Spirit) does not rush the heart.
It steadies it.
๐ฑ When the World Feels Loud and Uncertain
If you find yourself feeling:
• unsettled by events
• weary from constant information
• unsure what to trust
You are not weak.
You are human.
Jesus spoke to people living under occupation, violence, and uncertainty —
and still invited them to trust Him daily.
“Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
(Matthew 6:34)
You are not asked to carry tomorrow.
You are asked to walk today.
๐️ Peace Is a Practice, Not a Prediction
Walking with Jesus in unsteady times
means learning to practice peace
even when outcomes are unknown.
Peace does not come from understanding everything.
It comes from knowing Who you walk with.
If you are still choosing kindness…
still choosing honesty…
still choosing to love…
You are walking faithfully,
even when the world feels unsure.
๐ฟ A Gentle Anchor
When the world feels unsteady,
don’t grip tighter.
Hold simpler.
Stay close to Jesus.
Limit the noise.
Keep your steps small and honest.
The ground may shake —
but He does not.
