๐ŸŒฟ Walking With Jesus When You Feel Alone

(Companion Blog for Video 32)

๐Ÿ“บ Companion Video 32 — Talk With Jesus Daily
You can watch the video here:

If you haven’t watched the video yet, I suggest starting there.
This blog is for seasons when the path feels lonely and you want to remember that being alone does not mean being abandoned.

And as always, let me say this gently at the start:
If you have questions, or if something here touches a place in you that feels tender or confusing, please feel free to ask. I don’t claim to have all the answers — but I care, and I’ll do my best to respond as soon as I can.

You don’t have to carry this by yourself.

There are times in the walk with Jesus
when loneliness settles in quietly.

Not because people left.
Not because you pushed anyone away.

But because the road you’re walking
no longer lines up neatly with where others are standing.

That kind of loneliness can feel deep.

And it can make even faithful people wonder
if they’ve somehow stepped off the path.

๐ŸŒฑ Loneliness Is Not the Same as Separation

One of the hardest things to learn
is that loneliness does not mean God has withdrawn.

Jesus spoke clearly about His nearness:

“Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”
(Matthew 28:20)

He did not promise constant companionship from others.
He promised His presence.

And sometimes, His presence becomes most clear
when other voices grow quiet.

๐Ÿ“– Jesus Knows What It Is to Walk Alone

Jesus often walked alone —
even while surrounded by people.

There were moments when crowds followed Him,
yet no one truly understood what He carried.

And there were moments
when even His closest friends could not stay awake with Him.

“Could ye not watch with me one hour?”
(Matthew 26:40)

Jesus understands the ache of being unseen
and still choosing love.

If you feel alone,
you are walking a road He knows well.

๐ŸŒฟ The Book of Mormon: God Walks With Individuals

The Book of Mormon repeatedly shows
that God works one heart at a time.

Nephi, Alma, Mormon, Moroni —
each knew seasons of isolation.

Moroni wrote from a place of deep loneliness:

“I even remain alone.”
(Moroni 1:3)

And yet, the Lord remained with him.

Loneliness did not end Moroni’s walk.
It refined it.

๐Ÿ”ฅ The Nemenhah Records: Solitary Seasons of Preparation

The Nemenhah teachings speak openly
about solitary seasons along the Way.

The elders teach that there are times
when the Peacemaker draws a soul inward —
not to isolate it permanently,
but to prepare it.

These quiet seasons are not punishments.

They are places where the Haymehnay (Holy Spirit)
teaches directly, without distraction.

Those who walk the Way learn
that solitude can be a sacred classroom.

๐ŸŒฑ When No One Else Seems to Be Walking With You

If you’re in a place where:

• conversations feel harder
• fewer people understand your heart
• the road feels narrow

You are not failing.

You may simply be walking
a more personal stretch of the journey.

David expressed this kind of faith simply:

“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.”
(Psalm 27:10)

God does not abandon those
who must walk alone for a season.

๐Ÿ•Š️ You Are Not Forgotten

This matters deeply.

Loneliness does not mean invisibility.

Jesus sees you.
He walks with you.
He understands this stretch of road.

And if you ever need to ask something,
or simply say, “I don’t know what to do with this,”
please feel free to reach out.

Sometimes being heard
is part of how loneliness loosens its grip.

๐ŸŒฟ A Gentle Word

If you feel alone right now,
don’t rush to escape it.

Stay close to Jesus.
Keep your steps simple.
Let love remain your compass.

This season will not last forever —
but what it shapes in you
will matter long after it passes.
