🌿 68 — When Everything Shakes, What Remains?

πŸͺΆ Why rooted hearts don’t panic when structures move

There comes a point in every spiritual life
when something shakes.

Sometimes it’s doctrine.
Sometimes it’s leadership.
Sometimes it’s community.
Sometimes it’s your own assumptions.

What once felt solid
suddenly feels movable.

And when that happens,
people respond in one of two ways.

They either cling harder…

or they collapse.

But neither reaction is necessary
if you are rooted in the right place.

🌾 What Was Your Faith Built On?

If your faith was built on:

certainty
structure
institution
belonging
agreement

then shaking will feel like threat.

But if your faith was built on:

Christ
surrender
repentance
nearness
quiet trust

then shaking becomes clarification.

It reveals what was scaffolding
and what was foundation.

πŸ•Š️ Jesus Never Promised Stability of Structure

He promised Himself.

He never said systems would not drift.

He never said leaders would not falter.

He never said history would be clean.

He said:

“I am with you.”

That is a different kind of security.

🌿 The Gift of Shaking

Shaking removes illusion.

It forces you to ask:

What am I actually trusting?

What am I clinging to?

What would happen
if this fell away?

For many, shaking feels like loss.

But sometimes it is mercy.

Because what can be shaken
was never meant to hold you.

πŸ’§ Rooted Hearts Don’t Panic

When your confidence rests in Christ,
you don’t need everything else
to stay fixed.

You can let structures move.

You can let conversations change.

You can let uncertainty exist.

Because your anchor
is not external.

It is relational.

And relationships endure
what systems cannot.

🀲 What Remains

When arguments fade…

When platforms disappear…

When institutions evolve…

When certainty softens…

What remains?

Christ.

Repentance.

Mercy.

Love.

That is enough.

🀍
If everything else moved tomorrow,
and you still had Him…

you would still have the only thing
that cannot be shaken.
