๐ชถ WHEN STANDING QUIETLY COSTS YOU SOMETHING
๐ชถ WHEN STANDING QUIETLY COSTS YOU SOMETHING
(And You Still Feel Peace)
๐️ By The True Remnant
๐ A MESSAGE THAT HIT HOME
A brother shared something with me recently.
Not dramatic.
Not loud.
Just… real.
He said:
“I love the Nemenhah records. I’ve read through Volume Two twice now.
I know they are true.”
Then he shared something that stopped me in my tracks.
๐️ “I WAS RELEASED AS BISHOP…”
He had been serving as a Bishop.
Faithful.
Steady.
Doing what he’d been asked to do.
Then his Stake President asked him a simple question:
“Do you believe these records are true?”
And he answered honestly:
“Yes.”
But then he added something important:
“I won’t teach them or discuss them in the ward, since they’re not recognized by the Church.”
That’s not rebellion.
That’s not trying to stir anything up.
That’s a man trying to be both honest with God… and respectful to his stewardship.
⏳ A WEEK LATER…
A week later—
He was released.
No explanation given to the ward.
No big announcement.
Just… quietly done.
And he said something that I think is worth sitting with:
“I feel it was a test of some sort from the Lord… for me personally to stand on truth.”
๐ฅ NOT A TEST OF REBELLION
…A Test of HONESTY
We tend to think tests from the Lord look like:
- Big trials
- Obvious struggles
- Clear right vs wrong choices
But sometimes…
The test is much quieter.
๐ Will you say what you actually believe… when it costs you something?
Not aggressively.
Not loudly.
Just… honestly.
๐ชถ I FELT THIS ONE
When I read his message, I didn’t feel anger.
I didn’t feel “us vs them.”
I just felt this:
๐ The Lord works personally with people.
Different paths.
Different timing.
Different stewardships.
But the same invitation:
“Stand in what I’ve shown you.”
๐ WHAT THESE RECORDS ARE DOING
He said something else that really mattered:
“They have answered many questions for me about the Gospel.”
That’s the part people don’t always see.
This isn’t about chasing something new.
It’s not about tearing anything down.
It’s about:
- Questions finally making sense
- The Savior becoming more clear
- The path to Zion becoming more real
๐ฑ NOT LOUD… JUST TRUE
What I loved most about his response was this:
He didn’t fight it.
He didn’t campaign.
He didn’t try to prove anything.
He just stood… quietly.
That’s a different kind of strength.
๐งญ MY RESPONSE TO HIM
I told him:
“Man… I can feel that.
That’s not a small thing to go through.
I don’t pretend to understand all of it…
but I do believe the Lord works pretty personally with each of us.”
And I meant it.
Because He does.
๐ FOR THOSE WHO ARE WONDERING
If you’ve felt something similar…
If you’ve had quiet questions…
If you’ve found things that brought you closer to Christ…
You don’t have to force anything.
You don’t have to push anyone.
You don’t have to prove anything.
Just:
๐ Stay honest with the Lord
๐ Stay soft in your heart
๐ Stay grounded in Christ
He’ll handle the rest.

❤️ FINAL THOUGHT
This isn’t about choosing sides.
It’s about something much simpler:
๐ Are we willing to stand in what the Lord has actually shown us?
Even if it’s quiet.
Even if it costs something.
Even if no one else understands.
Because in the end…
That’s where peace comes from.

๐ฟ SIMPLE SUMMARY — WHAT THESE RECORDS TEACH
The Book of Mormon and the Nemenhah records serve different but connected purposes.
The Book of Mormon was written to:
- Warn a spiritually confident world
- Expose patterns of pride, wealth, and false security
- Invite individuals to repent and come unto Christ
- Prepare hearts without forcing conclusions
It speaks carefully and indirectly because it is addressing people who still trust in systems, authority, and outward strength.
The Nemenhah records, by contrast, were preserved to:
- Instruct those who already recognize something is wrong
- Teach how to live when spiritual systems no longer function as expected
- Emphasize personal relationship with the Peacemaker (Christ)
- Provide a pattern for small, faithful, consecrated communities
They speak more plainly because they are not trying to persuade the world—they are guiding those who are already seeking a different way.
๐ Core Teachings Found in the Nemenhah Records
According to these records:
- Zion is sustained through consecration, not organization alone
- Authority comes from the Lord through the Spirit, not from position or structure
- Institutions can drift when humility and direct revelation are lost
- The Lord works with small, faithful groups rather than large systems
- Spiritual survival depends on living the covenant, not promoting it outwardly
๐ What They Reveal About the World
Together, these records describe a pattern:
- A people receive truth
- They prosper and become confident
- They begin to rely on structure, wealth, and authority
- They lose the fullness of the Spirit
- The Lord continues to work—but shifts to individuals and smaller groups
The Book of Mormon warns that this pattern will happen.
The Nemenhah records describe how to live once it does.
๐งญ Final Clarification
These teachings do not replace:
- Jesus Christ
- The Holy Ghost
- Personal revelation
Their role is to:
- Help people recognize spiritual conditions
- Provide guidance for living faithfully in changing times
๐ชถ In Simple Terms
- The Book of Mormon says: “Watch for this.”
- The Nemenhah says: “Here’s how to live when you see it.”
