πŸŽ₯ Video 87 — Zion πŸ“ What I Thought Zion Was vs What I See Now

 Zion (Soft Summary)

πŸ“ What I Thought Zion Was vs What I See Now

For most of my life…

I thought I understood what Zion was.

πŸ™️ What I Thought Zion Meant

I pictured something big.

A place.
A people.
An organized effort.

Something you build.

Something you prepare for.

Something that eventually shows up…

if everything is done right.

🧠 The Way I Saw It

Zion, to me, felt like a system.

Structure.
Programs.
Rules.
Readiness.

Almost like if we followed the right steps…

we would get there.

🌱 Something Started Shifting

But as I kept walking this path…

that idea started to soften.

Not disappear.

Just… change.

❤️ What I Started Noticing

I started noticing something simple.

The closer I felt to Him…

the less complicated everything else felt.

Not more structure.

Not more layers.

Less.

πŸ•Š️ Zion Felt Different

Zion stopped feeling like something far away.

Something we had to build someday.

And started feeling like something…

that begins right here.

Inside.

πŸ‘£ Not a System — A Way of Living

I don’t see Zion as a system the way I used to.

I see it more as a way of living.

A way of being.

Walking with Him.

Loving people.

Being honest.

Letting your heart change.

❤️ Seeing People Differently

And just like everything else…

this changed how I see people.

I don’t look at who’s “in” or “out” the same way anymore.

I see individuals.

Trying.

Learning.

Walking their own path.

πŸ”„ Letting Go of the Old Picture

I didn’t lose my belief in Zion.

Not at all.

If anything…

it became more real.

Just not in the way I expected.

🌿 Closer Than I Thought

Zion doesn’t feel like something we’re waiting for anymore.

It feels like something that starts…

when a person starts walking with Him.

Quietly.

Personally.

🧭 What It Came Down To

All the ideas…

all the expectations…

all the timelines…

they just got smaller.

And this got bigger:

A changed heart.

πŸ‘£ If You’re Rethinking It Too

If your understanding of things is shifting…

you’re not losing anything.

You might just be seeing it more clearly.

πŸ€” A Thought I Couldn’t Ignore
At some point, I started asking myself something simple:

“If Zion is what I always thought it was…
why aren’t we there yet?”

Not in a critical way.

Just honestly.

Because there are good people.
Loving people.
People trying their best.

But when you read about Zion…
hearts knit together…
no poor among them…
all things in common…

I had to admit…

we’re not really living that

What I See Differently Now
I used to think things like the law of consecration
would come as part of some big moment someday.

Now I see it a little differently.

I think it starts in a person.

Because if the heart hasn’t changed…
no system will create Zion.

But if the heart has changed…

then Zion has already begun.

πŸŒ… Final Thought

I used to think Zion was something we had to build out there.

Now I see it as something that begins in here.

And when enough hearts turn toward Him…

maybe that’s when Zion becomes visible.
