A Look at the Endowment, the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn, and What This Life Is Really About
Hello friends.
Just sitting here again…
And this little story came to mind.
🌿 The Story
Two babies were in the womb.
One turned to the other and asked,
“Do you believe in life after delivery?”
The other said,
“I think there must be. Maybe we’re here to prepare for something more.”
The first replied,
“This is all there is. No one has ever come back.”
The second said,
“I think there will be more light… and maybe we’ll meet our mother.”
The first pushed back,
“If she’s real, where is she?”
And the second answered quietly,
“She’s all around us. Sometimes… when it’s still… I think I can feel her.”
🕊️ What If That’s Us?
What if we’re living in a place…
where we only trust what we can see?
And yet…
every once in a while…
something deeper shows up.
Quiet.
Still.
Real.
🌄 What This Life Is For
Scripture keeps bringing this back to something simple:
Learn to hear the Savior… and follow Him.
That’s it.
Not just:
- Learn a system
- Follow a structure
But:
- Hear Him
- Follow Him
🔑 The Endowment Shows a Pattern
The LDS temple lays out five laws:
- Obedience
- Sacrifice
- The Gospel
- Chastity
- Consecration
And when you look at it honestly…
it’s describing a path back to God.
But…
there’s a difference between:
👉 describing a path
and
👉 walking it
🌿 The Same Pattern — Lived Now
When you look at the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn…
and the Book of Mormon…
you start to see something:
They are not just describing the path.
They are trying to help you live it now.

Is it:

or
👉 Hearing Him… and then following?
Sacrifice…
Is it:
👉 Something you promise
or
👉 Something that naturally flows from love?
Chastity…
Is it:
👉 Just a boundary
or
👉 A sacred union with God included?
Consecration…
Is it:
👉 Someday
or
👉 Right now?

Maybe the question isn’t:
“Which one is right?”
Maybe it’s:
Am I actually learning to hear Him?
Because if you are…
everything else starts to change.
