Prophecy Fulfilled – Part 1
π NEW SERIES: PROPHECY FULFILLED
What the Nemenhah Said Would Happen After Joseph – And It Did
πͺΆ Direct Quote:
“In the last days shall the remnant bring to light the works of darkness done in the name of Zion. They shall cry repentance unto the Gentiles who hold the record but deny the power thereof, and their words shall pierce the hearts of the honest.”
(Mohrhohnahyah 15:2–4)
The Nemenhah Records—Moroni himself speaking—warned us what would happen after Joseph Smith restored the gospel.
They told us:
✅ Joseph and Hyrum would be betrayed by their own.
✅ Men would change Joseph’s teachings to justify their own works.
✅ False covenants like polygamy would be introduced in God’s name.
✅ Even the holy ordinances would be altered to bind people to leaders instead of Christ.
And now, in our day, every prophecy is being fulfilled.
This 4-part series walks through the Nemenhah’s warnings, the history that proves them true, and the remnant’s role right now in bringing it all to light.
π Prophecy Fulfilled – Part 1
Betrayal and the Seat of the Seer
πͺΆ Composite from Nemenhah Teachings:
“After the Lord restores His gospel by the hand of a chosen seer, the people who receive it will soon fall away, lifting themselves up in pride. They shall change the plainness of the word to rule over their fellows. Yea, they shall slay the prophets to secure their own seats.”
Sources:
Mohrhohnahyah 4:7–9 – They will change the plainness of the word to rule over their fellows.
Mohrhohnahyah 5:12 – Secret combinations among those in councils would betray and slay the prophet to secure “the seat of the seer.”
We are living this prophecy right now. The Lord said the remnant would one day expose these works of darkness—and that time has come.
π Moroni Warned Us
πͺΆ Direct Quote:
“It was by secret combinations, even among those who sat in councils with him, that the prophet was betrayed and slain. Yea, they sought his life because he reproved them, and they desired to hold the seat of the seer.”
(Mohrhohnahyah 5:12)
✅ Joseph and Hyrum—taken out by their own?
The Nemenhah leave little room for doubt.
π Who Wanted the Seat?
History tells us Joseph and Hyrum were killed by a mob, but Moroni’s words point deeper:
“Those who sat in councils with him” – Nauvoo leaders?
“Desired to hold the seat of the seer” – Brigham Young openly declared himself Joseph’s successor.
This isn’t wild speculation; it’s prophecy fulfilled.
πΏ A Call for Deeper Research
The Nemenhah give us the prophecy. Now it’s time to connect the dots.
Brothers—Rob, Jeremy, Justin—great researchers already have the skills and historical sources. Here’s what the Nemenhah have handed us to dig into:
✅ Who exactly betrayed Joseph and Hyrum? Which Nauvoo councils or leaders were involved?
✅ What writings or testimonies were altered to cover this up?
✅ How does this tie into doctrines introduced right after Joseph’s death?
The truth is coming out, just as Moroni said it would.
π️ A Gentle Prayer
Father in Heaven,
Thank You for sending Moroni again to speak to us. Bless the honest in heart—soften them to hear truth when it comes, even when it’s hard.
Help us love, not hate. Help us stand in truth without anger, and forgive those who were deceived. Make us wheat, Lord, not tares.
Gather us into Zion when You call.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
π Coming Next – Part 2
Next, we’ll look at what the Nemenhah said about changed writings and corrupted ordinances—and how that prophecy lines up with Section 132 and the temple endowment changes introduced in 1855.
The remnant is bringing it to light. Prophecy fulfilled.
π§ Reverse-Engineering History – The Remnant’s Work
The Nemenhah are more than just a witness—they are the key to understanding what really happened.
This is how we work as the remnant:
Start with the prophecy – The Nemenhah say Joseph and Hyrum were betrayed by their own.
Look for the history – Who stood to gain the “seat of the seer”? Who changed teachings right after Joseph’s death?
Match it to other witnesses – Compare with the Book of Mormon, Joseph’s own words, and historical records.
This is reverse-engineering history—not to accuse in anger, but to uncover truth.
If the Nemenhah are right about Joseph’s death, what else were they right about?
Note on Sources
Some of these teachings are composites of multiple Nemenhah passages, drawn together to show the overall warning the prophets gave. With the new standardized Volumes 1 & 2 now out (and the eBook coming soon), we’ll soon be able to cite every verse exactly once searchable. For now, I’ve listed the main chapters where these teachings can be verified in your own study.
