🔔 The Knock at the Door

A Gentle Call to All Who Love the Lord

I want to say something quietly today.
Not with a shout.
Not with a finger pointing.
Just a whisper from the soul.

If you're like me,
you were raised with faith.
You love the scriptures.
You love the Lord.
You love His Church.

And maybe, like me,
you’ve felt the Spirit
move through a song,
a testimony,
a moment in the temple,
or a quiet sacrament meeting.

You know what that feels like.
And you cherish it.

So this isn't about tearing anything down.
It’s about waking something up.

🕊️ We’ve All Been Trying

I believe President Nelson is doing what he thinks is right.
I believe he’s sincere.
Just like President Hinckley.
Just like President Monson.
Just like most who came before.

I believe the vast majority of Latter-day Saints are sincere.
You care about others.
You work hard.
You give, and you serve.

So please know this:

👉 This is not a message of anger.
👉 This is not a message of rebellion.
👉 This is a message of invitation.

👂 The Real Test Was Always This

We were never sent here to blindly follow any man.
We weren’t sent to check a box or fill a calling.

We were sent here for one great purpose:

To hear the voice of the Savior
…and follow it.

That’s the real test.
Not the temple recommend.
Not the home teaching quota.
Not the ward potluck attendance.

Can you recognize His voice?

Do you know when He’s whispering to your soul—
even if it leads you somewhere unexpected?

🚪 He Is Knocking

He said it Himself:

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock.” (Revelation 3:20)

He wasn’t talking to outsiders.
He was talking to His own people.

To the Church.
To the believers.
To us.

Sometimes we’re so busy being active
that we forget to be still.

And in the stillness,
He knocks.

🐑 A Remnant is Forming

All through the scriptures,
we see this pattern.

  • The majority often miss it.

  • The leaders get comfortable.

  • The people follow tradition.

  • And a small group hears His voice and walks away from the crowd.

That’s not apostasy.
That’s the pattern of the prophets.

Noah heard it.
Lehi heard it.
Alma the Elder heard it.
So did Joseph Smith.

And so do many today.

🔥 What If It’s Happening Again?

What if the Church was only part of the story?
A beginning—but not the end?

What if Christ is now calling you to come further?
To step out of the system
and into His presence?

What if He’s asking you to come unto Him—
not just through ordinances and meetings—
but face to face,
spirit to Spirit,
heart to heart?

What if all the things you’ve felt your whole life
are only the beginning?

Would you go?

Would you leave comfort?
Would you let go of structure?
Would you follow Him into the wilderness
if that’s where He called you?

💔 It’s Not Easy. But It’s Worth It.

Leaving behind familiar voices hurts.
We’ve trusted leaders.
We’ve built our lives around programs and promises.

But the Lord never said:

“Follow the prophet, and ye shall have eternal life.”

He said:

“Come, follow me.”
“My sheep hear my voice.”
“If you love me, keep my commandments.”

🕯️ A Gentle Invitation

So here’s the call.

Not a shout.
Not a demand.

Just an honest invitation:

Sit with Him.
Ask Him.
Listen quietly.
Trust what He says.
Even if it takes you out of the boat.
Even if it feels lonely at first.

Because when you follow Him,
you’re never truly alone.

✨ The Door Is Still Open

The remnant isn’t a club.
It’s not a new church.
It’s not a rebellion.

It’s just people who heard Him knocking
…and answered.

You’re invited.

Not because you’re broken.
But because you’ve always belonged to Him.

Let's bring on Zion!

Revelation 3:20

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him..."

3 Nephi 9:14

"Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended toward you..."

2 Nephi 32:3,5

"Feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do... the Holy Ghost... will show unto you all things what ye should do."

🐑 The Remnant Will Hear His Voice

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

"They wear stiff necks and high heads... they preach up unto themselves their own wisdom... and they persecute the meek and the poor in heart."

"Set not yourself above anyone... For of such comes the fall of many houses, even of Priests and Prophets. Yea, even of Kings."

The Book of Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm, Chapter 14:21

"Behold, the Lord raised up a mighty people to bring forth His words... but their leaders became puffed up... yet He used their industry and order to prepare the way for the Remnant."

🕯️ It’s Always Been About Hearing Him

Doctrine & Covenants 1:20

"That every man might speak in the name of God the Lord, even the Savior of the world;"

2 Nephi 9:41

"The keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there..."

Let these scriptures speak for themselves.
Not to stir rebellion—
…but to awaken remembrance.

He is knocking.
Can you hear Him?
