πͺΆ The Remnant Shall Rise
(From the Words of Timothy, the Hidden Nephite)
π
This post is part of our Sunday morning study group, where we read from the Nemenhah Records and ponder the Lord’s words for our day.
Today’s focus is on a powerful chapter of prophecy from Timothy (Tsimohtl), one of the Three Nephites—
π Book of Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm, Chapter 14, verses 1–33.
π ️ Used—but Not Filled
“Because of their industry, their organization, their diligence, and their zeal, the Lord did not withhold His hand entirely from them.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:3)
Let’s be clear—
The early Gentiles, the pioneers, the church-builders...
They worked.
They sacrificed.
They built something that looked holy.
And for a time?
God honored their zeal.
But not because they had the fulness.
Because they were trying.
❌ But They Fell Short
“But they did not receive it, because they sought to set up their own wisdom above that of God.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:5)
The power was offered.
But they wouldn’t let go of control.
They chose traditions.
They chose structure.
They wanted the show without the sanctification.
The Spirit backed away.
π️ They Boast of Keys… but God Is Gone
“They do boast in their temples and in their keys, but the Lord has withdrawn Himself from their councils.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:6–7)
Yes, they still talk about the keys.
Yes, they still build temples.
Yes, they still claim revelation.
But the Lord is not in their councils.
He’s not in their planning meetings or press releases.
The Spirit has withdrawn.
What good are keys…
when the lock no longer turns?
π± The Lord Turns to the Remnant
“I, the Lord, do call again upon My Remnant, and upon them shall the greater work rest.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:10)
So He looks elsewhere.
To the lowly.
The scattered.
The despised.
He calls the Remnant.
Not because they’re many.
Because they’re clean.
Because they listen.
Because they walk the Way.
π️ Zion Is Not in the Towers
“Behold, they look to their high towers and say, ‘Zion is here,’ but I say unto them, Zion is not there.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:13)
You can build high,
Shine gold on the steeples,
Wave banners that say “Zion.”
But Zion is not there.
Zion doesn’t come through budgets and branding.
It comes through brokenness
and purity
and Jesus.
✊π½ The Remnant Will Build It
“It shall not be the Gentiles that bring in Zion, but the Remnant whom I shall call.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:15)
You heard that right.
The Gentiles had the chance.
They blew it.
Now the Lord is calling others.
The Remnant will rise.
And yes, some of the Gentiles will help—
but not lead.
They’ll follow.
π£ Cast Out? You're Called.
“And I will raise up those who have been cast out, and they shall speak My words again.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:20)
Have you been shamed?
Silenced?
Told you were wrong for asking questions?
Good.
You’re in the right place.
Because God is raising up the cast-offs.
The ones with no platform,
but a pure heart.
π₯ Endowed with Power from On High
“And they shall be endowed with power from on high, even with the power of the Father...”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:24)
Not a temple recommend.
Not a priesthood office.
Power from the Father Himself.
The same endowment Jesus promised.
The same that burned in Joseph's bones.
The same that heals and prophesies and blesses.
And the Remnant will carry it.
π The Door Is Still Open
“Whosoever will repent and turn from their pride... shall be gathered in.”
(Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:30)
Don’t think it’s too late.
If you’re willing to drop the pride,
walk away from the towers,
and kneel before the King—
He will gather you.
Not into an organization.
But into His arms.
πΎ He used the Gentiles.
But He’s raising up the Remnant.
You don’t need the spotlight.
You need the Spirit.
That’s who Zion is.
And that’s who He’s calling now.
