🕰️ Day 1: How Should I Spend My Time?
“Lord, how should I spend my time?” (No answer.)
“Lord, should I spend more time with my family?” (Yes.)
Sometimes silence is the greatest answer of all.
And sometimes the Lord is just waiting for the right question.
He doesn’t always respond when we ask generically—
But when the heart speaks in alignment with heaven,
the answer often comes quickly. Simply. Kindly.
And it may surprise us.
Not a call to mission.
Not a long list of duties.
Just this:
“Spend more time with your family.”
🪨 The Doctrine Is Hidden in the Simple
Alma taught:
“By small and simple things are great things brought to pass.” (Alma 37:6)
Jesus said:
“Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these… ye have done it unto me.” (Matthew 25:40)
The Lord promised in D&C:
“Thou shalt love thy wife with all thy heart.” (D&C 42:22)
And in the Nemenhah, the pattern is always the same:
The Lord walks with those who walk with their people.

🕊️ When the Heavens Are Still, Ask Again
Ask with a softer voice.
Ask with a more focused heart.
Ask with love in mind.
“Lord, what would You have me do for them?”
The answer might come in a whisper,
or in the laughter of your grandchildren.
Or in the quiet of watching the sun rise beside your wife.
The Second Comforter isn’t always found in caves and groves.
Sometimes He enters through the back door of your kitchen
and sits down while you make toast.
🙏 INVITATION
Today, ask differently.
Not “What should I do?”
But “Who should I be with?”
You might be surprised
how often heaven simply says:
Go home. Love them.
