๐ฉ✨ Screws, Rods, and the Hand of God
๐ฉ✨ Screws, Rods, and the Hand of God
๐️ Facing the Table Again
In just a short while, I’ll be rolled into that operating room. Eight screws, some rods — a big job for sure. They’ll be tightening and straightening what’s been weak. The body gets hardware, but the soul? The soul gets courage.
I won’t lie — there’s nerves. But above that, there’s peace. Because I know this isn’t just metal and medicine. This is part of the Lord’s work in me. He’s the Great Physician.
๐ช Strength Beyond the Steel
The doctors bring the tools, but God brings the healing. This isn’t about what they’re putting in me — it’s about what He’s putting into me:
- more patience
- more gratitude
- more endurance
- more trust
I feel His hand steadying mine, even now.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10)
“And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness.
I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me.” (Ether 12:27)
๐ Hope on the Other Side
So don’t you worry. When I wake up, it’ll be with new strength. This is just another step toward walking straighter, freer, lighter.
Your prayers and love surround me like a shield. I’m grateful beyond words. Whatever happens, Christ is in it.
And that’s enough.
