✨ Those Who Walk With Jesus — Part 9 ✨
📝 Their Message (Summary)
She says it with no hesitation:
“I LOVE JESUS. He is what brings me joy and makes my heart soar.”
A dream came to her — a simple invitation card that read: “Walk with God.” Not long after, another invitation arrived: a retreat in Colorado with 400 Christian women. She went, and discovered she was the only Latter-day Saint among them.
For four days the focus was nothing but Jesus. Worship. Singing. Pure love for the Savior.
She had once believed: “We are the only ones with full access to the Holy Ghost.” But how could that be true, when the Spirit burned so unmistakably in that small auditorium? The truth stood clear: wherever Christ is lifted up, His Spirit testifies.
And the worship? It was childlike, unashamed, overflowing:
🎶 voices raised at the top of their lungs,
🎶 arms lifted high in joy,
🎶 hearts on fire for Jesus.
She came home with a message: Worship freely. Love Him openly. Sing like children who adore their Father.
🔥 My Reflection
This pierces my own heart. How often do we sit in our pews silent, afraid of what someone might think if we lifted a hand, or shouted for joy? Yet the Psalms themselves cry out: “O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph” (Psalm 47:1).
Could it be that our reverence has become restraint? That our “dignity” has sometimes suffocated our praise?
The Spirit goes where Christ is adored, without regard for our denominational walls. The Holy Ghost is not confined to a single church — He burns wherever hearts cry out the name of Jesus.
🕊️ The Invitation
Will you worship like a child again? Will you drop the shame, lift your hands, sing, and rejoice in your Savior?
Try it in your room. Try it in your car. Try it in your heart. He is worthy of unrestrained love.
As Nephi said: “I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell” (2 Nephi 33:6).
