✨ What Is the Fulness of the Gospel? #7

✨ What Is the Fulness of the Gospel?

๐Ÿ“ Their Message (Summary)

This family asked a piercing question: What is the fulness of the gospel?

They pointed to 3 Nephi 16, where Jesus prophesied that the Gentiles would one day reject the fulness. For many years they, like most of us, thought this applied to “other Christians.” But the Spirit showed them it applies to us — the very Gentiles who received the Book of Mormon.

They explained that the fulness is not programs or ordinances alone, but the direct promise of Christ: to see Him, to know Him, and to be redeemed by Him personally. Joseph Smith testified of this in D&C 76, when the heavens were opened and he saw the Father and the Son.

The sobering truth: much of latter-day Gentile religion has replaced this fulness with lesser things. And yet the invitation of Jesus still stands, for anyone who will open the door.

๐Ÿ”ฅ My Reflection

This hits home. For too long, I too assumed the warnings of the Book of Mormon were meant for “others.” But as the Spirit has patiently shown me, its words are for us. The Book of Mormon is a mirror — not a telescope.

The fulness of the gospel is Jesus Christ Himself. It is walking the path He laid out in 2 Nephi 31: faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the Holy Ghost, pressing forward until we hear His voice and know Him.

๐Ÿ“– “To whom He grants this privilege of seeing and knowing for themselves” (D&C 76:117).

That is the fulness. And it is available.

๐Ÿ•Š️ The Invitation

So I must ask: have I treated lightly the Book of Mormon? Have I traded the fulness for the form?

The Lord is not bound by institutions. He is already appearing, speaking, and redeeming His people worldwide. The testimonies are multiplying. The Spirit confirms it.

The only real question is: Will I receive Him?

He promised: “If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him” (Revelation 3:20).
