πŸ•Š️ A Gentle Command from the Peacemaker

(Reflections in Light of* Waking Up Zion*)

🌺 THE MOMENT THAT STILL SPEAKS

There’s a passage in The Second Book of Tsi Muhayl, Chapter 8,
that feels like it was written for this very hour—
for every man who’s learning how to love a woman the way Heaven intended.

Tsi Muhayl was preparing his people for their Second Endowment
to pass through the veil, receive heavenly names,
and walk with the Peacemaker while still in the flesh.

But before they entered the holy place,
he stopped and looked at the men.

“Do not think you are higher than the women.
They have already received these teachings.
Their hands and hearts are clean.
Protect them—not because they are weak,
but because they are holy.”

Even now, that counsel hums like thunder beneath Zion’s foundation.

πŸ”₯ THE PRIESTHOOD ALREADY WITHIN THEM

In the Nemenhah Records, the truth is unmistakable:
Women held priesthood power—not borrowed from men,
but inherited from their Heavenly Parents.

They were the stewards of peace,
the keepers of medicine,
the teachers of mysteries.

When darkness approached,
it was the men’s charge to stand guard—
not as rulers, but as protectors of sanctity.

Because the women had already crossed the threshold.
Their ministry began inside the veil.

“Behold, the women of the people have already entered into the preparation.”
— 2 Tsi Muhayl 8:12

“It is expedient that the men rise up—not to take dominion,
but to stand between the women and the defilement of the world.”
— 2 Tsi Muhayl 8:17

“They are more sanctified than you, for they have already touched the veil.”
— 2 Tsi Muhayl 8:21

πŸ“– THE PATTERN ACROSS SCRIPTURE

Even the Book of Mormon carries this same reverence:

  • Alma 56:47-48 — The stripling warriors bore the faith of their mothers.

  • Alma 43:9 — Captain Moroni rose not to rule but to protect wives and children.

  • 3 Nephi 17 — The Savior wept over the women and filled their children with angels and fire.

Every true defender in scripture stands between holiness and harm.

πŸ•Š️ THE PROPHET KNEW

Joseph Smith once said,

“If you live up to your privilege, the angels cannot be restrained from being your associates.”
— Eliza R. Snow, Relief Society Minutes

He knew the privilege wasn’t domination.
It was proximity—walking so near to holiness that Heaven itself keeps company with you.

The early Saints glimpsed it.
The Nemenhah lived it.
And Waking Up Zion calls it forth again:
Church of the Firstborn led by holy women and guarded by humble men.

πŸ’¬ THE GENTLE COMMAND

Men—
You were never given strength to control.
You were given strength to kneel beside the sacred.

Stand in the breach.
Protect the pure.
Honor the holy feminine that already walks with the Peacemaker.

She is ahead of you in the procession.
You are there to clear the path.

Because in truth—
she already walks with Him.
And all we’re doing…
is catching up.
