With Love, Your Enemy…
📝 Their Message (Summary)
The world is in commotion — politics, media, entertainment, and even laws can leave us angry, divided, or distracted. But Scripture reminds us: the true enemy is not each other. The Left is not pure evil, and the Right is not the savior of the world. The government, our family, our coworkers — none of these are the real enemy. Satan is.
From Cain’s downfall in Moses 5, to Moroni’s warnings in Ether 8, the pattern of “secret combinations” — deception, bloodshed, power, and corruption — runs through history. It is alive in our day. Evil delights in setting us up, just as Cain was set up, and in distracting us with headlines, celebrities, and cultural idols. When we see only labels instead of people, when we consume without discernment, we risk forgetting who the real enemy is.
The adversary’s tactics are ancient: distort, deceive, distract. The call of Christ is just as ancient: “Come unto me.”
🔥 My Reflection
I need this reminder. It is so easy to demonize the “other side,” to get swept into fear, or to fixate on the noise. But every time I lose sight of Jesus, I’ve already lost ground to the enemy.
The frightening realities of the world are not meant to drive me deeper into fear — they are meant to drive me deeper into Christ. He alone reveals hearts. He alone conquers darkness. My job is not to track every secret plot, but to fix my eyes on Him.
🕊️ The Invitation
Ask yourself: Who am I treating as my “enemy” right now? Am I labeling instead of loving?
Read Ephesians 6:12 and pray it aloud: “Lord, open my eyes to see who the real battle is against.”
Pray:
“Jesus, keep my eyes on You. Deliver me from deception and distraction. Teach me to love people, even those I disagree with, and to resist the true enemy who seeks my soul.”
