✨ Those Who Walk With Jesus — Part 33 ✨
“It Is Written…”

📝 Their Message (Summary)
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s The Gulag Archipelago describes how millions were broken under interrogation, persuaded to sign lies that condemned them to prison or death. Their wills were crushed by methods like sleeplessness, humiliation, intimidation, and lies. The prisoners’ only defense could have been knowledge of the law—but it was hidden from them.

In the same way, Satan interrogates us. He comes at night. He whispers lies. He plays on our emotions, confuses, humiliates, and persuades. He lures us into agreements that enslave our minds. If we don’t know the Word, we can’t fight back.

Jesus shows us how to win: when tempted in the wilderness, He answered every assault with Scripture—“It is written.” (Matthew 4). That is the law of God, and it is the weapon that breaks the enemy’s hold.

🔥 My Reflection
This sobers me. How many times have I “signed papers” in my spirit by agreeing with lies? How often do I let sleepless nights, dark thoughts, or subtle temptations convince me that I am powerless? The truth is: I have an Advocate, and I have His law.

When I know and declare what is written, the enemy’s interrogation collapses. He cannot stand against God’s Word. Jesus Himself wielded Scripture as His defense. So must I.

🕊️ The Invitation

  • Ask the Lord: “Where have I agreed with lies? Show me the papers I’ve signed in my spirit.”

  • Find Scriptures that speak directly against those lies. Write them down.

  • In prayer, break those agreements and declare: “It is written…”—just as Jesus did.

Pray:
“Lord, open my eyes to the battle around me. Teach me to wield Your Word as my defense. Let me stand, not in my own strength, but in what is written. Send angels to minister to me as You did to Jesus.”
