✨ Those Who Walk With Jesus — Part 35 ✨
To Keep the Rocks from Crying Out!
📝 Their Message (Summary)
Sometimes words fail. When the heart is full of awe, only song can carry the weight of it. Jesus said if His disciples were silent, the very stones would cry out in praise (Luke 19:40). And so we sing—not because He needs it, but because our souls cannot hold back.
This song captures it: “We sing out and we sing loud to keep the rocks from crying out.” When nations refuse Him praise, when culture grows cold, the cry of a disciple is simple, loud, and full of devotion: “Praise Him! Praise Him!”
As Oswald Chambers wrote, “Discipleship means personal, passionate devotion to a Person—our Lord Jesus Christ.” Not to a cause. Not to principles. To Him.
🔥 My Reflection
I love Jesus. I can’t always find the words to capture the depth of what He means to me. But worship helps me. Music breaks through where language fails. Sometimes all I can do is turn the volume up, raise my hands, and let my heart sing until heaven itself joins in.
I don’t want the rocks to outpraise me. I want my life to be a loud, bold melody that proclaims: He is worthy.
🕊️ The Invitation
Worship this week with abandon. Turn it up loud. Lift your hands. Dance if you must.
Remember: discipleship is devotion to a Person—Jesus Himself. Keep your eyes on Him.
Pray:
“Jesus, I can’t always find the words, but I offer You my song, my heart, my whole being. Let my life sing louder than the rocks. Be glorified.”
