✨ Those Who Walk With Jesus —   ✨
“To Keep the Rocks From Crying Out!”

📝 Their Message (Summary)
Sometimes words aren’t enough. That’s what this post captures. The writer admits—“I sit here trying to type something epic about Him, but I’ve been staring out the window too long now. I can’t put it into words.” So instead, they share a song, a declaration of worship, where every lyric points upward:

  • Captivating… You enraptured me.

  • Illuminating… You brighten up my soul.

  • Overwhelming… I’m in awe of You.

  • Never ending, You are remarkable.

The theme is simple but fierce: if we don’t cry out, the rocks themselves will (Luke 19:40). Creation is groaning for its Maker. Heaven and earth ache to break into song. And so, the only fitting response is to sing, shout, and dance in honor of the King.

The post ends with a quote from Oswald Chambers:

Discipleship means personal, passionate devotion to a Person—our Lord Jesus Christ. There is a vast difference between devotion to a person and devotion to principles or to a cause. Our Lord never proclaimed a cause—He proclaimed personal devotion to Himself. To be a disciple is to be a devoted bondservant motivated by love for the Lord Jesus.”

This brings it home: Christianity isn’t about signing up for a movement or defending an institution. It’s about Him.

🔥 My Reflection
This one feels like worship spilling over. Not a treatise. Not an argument. Just love too big to keep inside. The rocks themselves are on standby to praise Him if we don’t—and that thought should shake us awake.

There’s something raw and real about admitting, “I don’t have the words.” Sometimes silence, tears, or a song blasting at full volume is the truest prayer we can offer.

And maybe that’s the point. If discipleship means personal, passionate devotion to Jesus Himself, then singing until your lungs give out is as valid a sermon as any essay or lecture.

🕊️ The Invitation

  • Turn up the volume. Lift your hands. Dance. Don’t let the rocks outpraise you.

  • Don’t substitute a cause for Christ. Causes will fade. Only He remains.

  • Let worship be the place where devotion becomes delight.

📖 Scriptures to Ponder

  • “If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” — Luke 19:40

  • “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” — Psalm 150:6

  • “Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.” — Psalm 96:1
