With Love, Your Enemy…
📝 Their Message (Summary)
This post begins with the tension of our times: political division, lockdowns, and endless arguments between “Left” and “Right.” The author reminds us—neither side is the true enemy. People are not the enemy. The government is not the enemy. The enemy of your soul is the same one who slithered into Eden, the same one who set up Cain, the same one Moroni warned would be among all nations in the last days.
Cain’s story is retold with fresh urgency: Satan patiently set him up. He knew Cain’s heart. He waited for the moment Cain’s sacrifice wasn’t accepted. And then Cain turned bitter, embraced secret oaths, and gloried in wickedness. Moroni saw those same secret combinations in his day, and he saw them in ours (Ether 8).
The post then pulls back the curtain on today’s culture—media consolidation, dark symbolism in entertainment, abortion laws, celebrity imagery soaked in occult themes. The point is not sensationalism—it is to remind you that there really isan enemy, and he delights to distract you. Whether through politics, celebrity, or cultural obsessions, his goal is always the same: to keep your eyes off Jesus.
🔥 My Reflection
This is one of the heaviest posts in the series. It’s not easy to read about darkness, and it shouldn’t be. But the author makes the right turn: the point isn’t to wallow in evil—it’s to recognize it and then run to the Light.
The enemy sets up traps like he did for Cain. He whispers to us that our offering isn’t enough, that someone else is the problem, that the world is too far gone. And when we believe those lies, bitterness grows. But the truth is—we have one real enemy. And he is already defeated by the Cross.
The line that stands out most: “The enemy’s tactic is to distort, deceive, and distract. Eyes on Jesus.” That’s the shield. That’s the weapon. That’s the hope.
🕊️ The Invitation
Refuse to label people as enemies. See their humanity.
Don’t get distracted by the noise of politics or culture—remember the ancient plan of your adversary.
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the Truth in a world of distortion.
