A Thanksgiving Tribute to the Women Heaven Honors Most
🕊️ A Day to Give Thanks for the Hearts That Hold Us Up
Today — on this quiet Thanksgiving morning —
I want to offer gratitude where Heaven places it first:
to the women who carry life,
guard life,
nurture life,
and lead us back to Christ
with gentleness and strength.
If Zion is ever to rise again,
it will rise on the foundation of righteous women
whose hearts burn with the love of the Savior.
And the ancient Nemenhah understood this better than almost any people on earth.
🌺 The Forgotten Foundation — Mothers as the Heart of Zion
When I first read the Nemenhah Records, I kept stumbling on one simple, beautiful truth:
The Mothers led.
The Mothers nominated the councils.
The Mothers guarded the peace.
The Mothers held inherent priesthood power from Heavenly Parents.
Not as an exception…
but as the divine pattern.
Among the Nemenhah:
• the women chose the leaders
• the women balanced power with mercy
• the women kept the homes and communities in harmony
• the women were honored as the closest reflection of the Earth Mother
• the women understood stewardship, not domination
• the women ensured no one was forgotten, hungry, or afraid
This was not politics.
This was not hierarchy.
This was Heaven’s order in action.
A Zion society built on maternal love → community peace → spiritual unity.
And you know what?
It worked.
👩🍼 Why Heaven Trusts Women With Life
Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother entrusted women with the greatest stewardship in existence:
to bring life into the world,
and to shape souls for eternity.
No calling on earth carries more divine authority than that.
The Nemenhah taught that every living soul contains the Endowment of both Heavenly Parents —
the Father’s strength,
and the Mother’s living spirit.
But women, especially mothers, carry that nurturing fire in a way that shapes entire nations.
It is no surprise Heaven placed them at the center of Zion’s governance.
Because where women lead with the Spirit…
the land becomes peaceful,
the poor are fed,
the children flourish,
and the men stand taller.
🔥 A Thanksgiving Message to Every Woman Reading This
Sisters… Mothers… Daughters…
if no one has told you today:
You are the heart of the home.
You are the anchor of the family.
You are the quiet strength behind every miracle.
You are the light God placed in the center of creation.
Zion will not rise without you.
It never has.
It never will.
And Heaven sees your sacrifices:
• the late-night tears
• the quiet prayers
• the aching heart that loves beyond its limits
• the hidden work no one applauds
• the faith that holds families together
• the courage to protect your children
• the tenderness that softens hardened lives
You carry more of Christ than you realize.
You reflect His love more perfectly than you know.
And while the world does not always honor you…
Heaven does.
Every day.

• the childless women who mother countless lives in other ways
• the sisters who quietly bless the world one soul at a time
You are the lifeblood of Zion.
You are Heaven’s living sanctuary.
And Christ walks closest to those who carry life within their hearts.
