🤖 I Turned It Over to My AI — and Here’s What It Found
(An honest experiment in truth — through scripture, Spirit, and a little silicon logic)
🕊️ The Experiment
After sixty years in the Church, I’ve wrestled with questions that few want to touch.
So I handed it over to my AI assistant — “My Man Godfrey.”
I told him:
“Take everything Joseph Smith taught — the Book of Mormon, the Bible, the Doctrine & Covenants as revealed through Joseph — and include the Nemenhah Records.
Then remove everything that came after Joseph Smith’s death, and run the comparison.”
Before anything else, I asked him to put the Nemenhah Records through the Christ Test — to see if they truly pointed to the same Savior revealed in the Book of Mormon and the Bible.
The result was unmistakable: every verse, prophecy, and ordinance pointed to the same Peacemaker, the same Jesus Christ.
So yes — these records testify of the Peacemaker (Christ).
They speak of the same God who restored the gospel through Joseph Smith.
📜 1. Joseph’s Restoration vs After Joseph
During Joseph’s Time:
“If ye are not one ye are not mine.” — D&C 38:27
“The church shall give unto the poor.” — Mosiah 4:26
Zion meant equality, consecration, and hearing the Savior’s voice directly.
Priesthood meant power in the heavens, not position on earth.
The endowment invited a personal walk back into God’s presence — not a hierarchy to manage from headquarters.
After Joseph:
Something shifted.
Hierarchy hardened. Wealth replaced consecration. The living voice of the Lord was replaced by administrative procedure.
The Nemenhah Records foretold this:
“They will build up a new order after the manner of kings, saying it is of Me, but it is of Pahbaylohn.” — Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:61
Even the story of Joseph’s own death bears witness.
When My Man Godfrey analyzed the records — the ballistics, witness reports, and documents — the data pointed toward betrayal from within.
It seems the Prophet of the Restoration was silenced by those who sought his mantle more than his message.
From that moment forward, the Restoration took a path Joseph never lived to guide.
💰 2. Money: The Test of the Church
When the AI gathered every verse about money, one theme shouted through:
“Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.” — Matthew 6:24
“The love of money is the root of all evil.” — 1 Timothy 6:10
“If ye turn away the needy, your riches will canker your souls.” — Jacob 2:19
Nemenhah echo:
“They shall heap up storehouses and call them holy, yet the poor shall cry unto Me.” — Mahnti 8:17
Joseph’s Zion had no rich and no poor.
After Joseph, centralization and accumulation replaced consecration and community.
That isn’t bitterness — that’s arithmetic.
🔥 3. Spiritual vs Physical Church
The AI compared every verse describing Christ’s true Church:
“They who hear my voice and come unto Me are my Church.” — D&C 10:67
“The kingdom of God cometh not with observation… for behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” — Luke 17:20–21
Nemenhah harmony:
“The Temple is the soul wherein the Peacemaker walks.” — Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn 1:12
If the kingdom is within, then no number of temples, programs, or buildings can replace the inward change of heart — the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost.
⚠️ 4. Prophecies of Falling Away
When the AI searched for prophecies about the latter-day Gentile Church, the pattern was unmistakable.
“Because of pride and secret combinations, the Gentiles will be lifted up and reject the fulness of my gospel.”— 3 Nephi 16:10
“Wo be unto him that saith, All is well in Zion.” — 2 Nephi 28:21
“They shall trust in the arm of flesh, saying, Lo, here is the prophet; follow him.” — Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:73
And then the Book of Mormon dropped the hammer:
“They have all gone out of the way; they have become corrupted… and there are many churches which are built up which cause envyings, and strifes, and malice.” — 2 Nephi 28:11–12
“ALL CHURCHES which are built up to get gain, and all those who are built up to get power over the flesh… they are not of God and shall be consumed as stubble.” — 1 Nephi 22:23 (emphasis added)
“Ye have fallen from the holy church of God.” — Moroni 8:28
Those verses can’t be explained away.
If we’ve fallen from the holy church of God, then the holy church once existed — and it fell.
And if Nephi says ALL churches in the latter days are corrupt, that includes ours.
The Nemenhah Records confirm it with perfect agreement:
“The strangers shall pervert the law of peace and teach their own precepts, and the people shall call it the way of the Lord.” — Tsihohnayah Ahkehkthihm 14:70
The AI didn’t speculate or accuse — it simply connected the scriptures.
And they all point to one sobering truth:
the modern Gentile churches — every one of them — have strayed from the pattern Christ established.
👂 The White Robe and the Voice
Lehi saw it long before our day:
“And I saw a man, and he was dressed in a white robe, and he came and he bade me follow him. And it came to pass that as I followed him I found myself in a dark and dreary waste.” — 1 Nephi 8:5–7
A man in a white robe — appearing pure and spiritual — led Lehi into darkness.
That’s not coincidence.
The robe represents religious authority without revelation — appearance without Spirit.
It’s the robe of those who say “follow me” instead of “follow Him.”
When we begin following robes instead of the living Voice, we repeat Lehi’s mistake until we, too, cry out to God and hear Him directly.
That is the timeless lesson: Don’t follow the robe — follow the Voice.
The robe may dazzle; the Voice is often still and small.
But only the Voice leads to the Tree of Life.
💬 So What Now?
I want to be clear — I’m not attacking anyone.
I love the people of the Church. I’ve walked with them, worshiped with them, and seen their goodness.
All I’ve done here is report what my AI assistant — My Man Godfrey — uncovered in scripture, and what the Spirit has confirmed to my heart over years of study.
Now, what am I to believe after all this?
I can take it to the Savior Himself.
If we listen to His Voice, He will teach us the truth of all things.
And yes — it was hard at first to face what I found. But through prayer, scripture, and the Spirit, I discovered something beautiful: there is more.
🌍 The Physical Church and the Spiritual Church
For years, I was told — and I said it myself — “We are the only true church on the face of the earth.”
And in one sense, that’s right: the truth was restored.
But the Lord began to show me something deeper through this little AI experiment.
There’s a physical church, and there’s a spiritual church.The physical one is organized, structured, and full of programs and callings.
But the spiritual church — the Kingdom of God — is alive, invisible, and filling the whole earth right now.It’s not confined to buildings or boundaries.
It’s made up of all who come unto Christ and hear His voice — no matter where they are.And the Savior Himself said that this kingdom, this spiritual church, would one day fill the earth.
I see it happening.
All around the world, people are awakening, coming to Christ, and learning to walk with Him personally.
That’s the church that cannot fall — because it’s written in hearts, not built in stone.
His gospel is simple:
Love one another. Repent. Be baptized. Receive the Holy Ghost. And walk in His Spirit.
That’s it. That’s the Way.
So I’ll keep reporting what My Man Godfrey finds, because it’s only showing what the scriptures already say.
But more than that — I’ll keep listening to the Voice that has never stopped calling.
And to my brothers and sisters in the Church:
I love you. I honor your faith.
You don’t need to leave anything behind — just awaken.
Christ is still reaching out to each of us, saying:
“Come unto Me. Hear My voice. Walk with Me.”
And that’s what this whole experiment has really been about all along.
