“How to Talk With Jesus When You Can’t Feel Anything Anymore”
(Based on Video #13 — “Talk With Jesus Daily” Series)
Hello friends.
It’s me again…
just a simple old man from the sticks,
sitting with an open heart and a quiet room,
talking honestly about a struggle
that almost every disciple goes through:
What do you do when your feelings go numb…
and you can’t feel the Savior anymore?
Not because you’ve sinned.
Not because you’re unworthy.
Not because He’s withdrawn.
But because life has punched your soul so hard
that everything feels flat.
Video 13 speaks right into that sacred place.
Let’s walk into it together.
🌑 1) Spiritual Numbness Is Not Rebellion — It’s Exhaustion
This is the first relief of this message:
If you feel numb…
that doesn’t mean you’re drifting.
It means you’re tired.
Deeply tired.
Elijah — one of the greatest prophets of all time —
collapsed under a tree and begged God to take his life.
Not because he didn’t believe.
Not because he lost faith.
Because he was emotionally spent.
And what did God do?
• He fed him.
• He let him sleep.
• He spoke gently.
• He restored him.
The Nemenhah Records say:
“The weary hear Him only after they have rested.”
Spiritual numbness is a sign of depletion,
not disobedience.
🕯 2) Jesus Speaks Just as Clearly in the Absence of Feeling
This is the core message of Video 13:
Jesus isn’t limited to emotions.
He speaks to your spirit —
even when your emotions have shut down.
We often equate “feeling the Spirit”
with goosebumps, warmth, tears, exhilaration.
But Jesus said:
“My sheep hear My voice.”
— John 10:27
Not:
“My sheep feel My emotions.”
Revelation is deeper than emotion.
It happens beneath your skin…
beneath your nerves…
beneath your broken places.
It happens in the root of your soul.
🌨 3) The Savior Is Nearest When You Feel Nothing
This part from the video changes lives.
In Mark 4,
when the storm hit the boat…
Where was Jesus?
Asleep in the back —
but still in the boat.
Your emotions may feel empty.
Your heart may feel flat.
Your soul may feel cold.
But the Savior hasn’t moved.
He promised:
“I am with you always.”
— Matthew 28:20
And the Nemenhah Records echo:
“When the soul sleeps, the Peacemaker keeps watch.”
You don’t have to feel Him
for Him to be with you.
🧎♂️ 4) How to Talk to Jesus When Your Emotions Go Silent
Video 13 gives a simple, powerful pattern
for talking to Him when feelings disappear:
✔ 1) Tell Him honestly how you feel.
“Lord… I’m numb.”
“Lord… I don’t feel anything.”
“Lord… I’m tired.”
He loves honesty.
✔ 2) Don’t force emotion — speak simply.
He hears every word.
✔ 3) Use scripture as your voice.
Read a verse slowly.
Let it be your prayer.
✔ 4) Sit quietly for 20–30 seconds.
Even if you feel nothing.
That stillness is worship.
✔ 5) Expect Him to respond over time — not instantly.
Numbness doesn’t lift in a moment.
It melts gradually.
Just like ice.
🌤 5) The First Sign of Healing Is Not Emotion — It’s Clarity
This is one of the most beautiful truths in the video:
When numbness starts to lift,
you won’t suddenly burst into spiritual fireworks.
You’ll start to notice:
• A little more calm.
• A tiny bit of motivation.
• A verse that glows faintly.
• A whisper of direction.
• A small spark of hope.
• A breath that feels peaceful.
That’s how the Shepherd leads you back.
The Nemenhah teach:
“Light returns to the weary soul
as a dawn, not as a blaze.”
The first light is small.
But it is real.
💛 6) Jesus Specializes in Numb, Worn-Out Souls
This is the heart of the Gospel.
He came for:
• the heavy laden
• the emotionally exhausted
• the heartbroken
• the overwhelmed
• the spiritually dry
• the ones who can’t feel anymore
David said:
“My soul melted for heaviness…
strengthen Thou me.”
— Psalm 119:28
Jesus never said:
“Come unto Me all who are spiritually on fire.”
He said:
“Come unto Me all who are weary.”
Weariness is an invitation,
not a barrier.
🕊️ 7) What Jesus Wants You to Know Today
Here’s the entire message of Video 13
in one simple, healing line:
“Even when you can’t feel Me —
I am still with you.”
Your numbness doesn’t scare Him.
Your flatness doesn’t disappoint Him.
Your emptiness doesn’t anger Him.
Your quietness doesn’t offend Him.
He is not measuring your emotions.
He is watching your heart —
and your heart is still turned toward Him.
That’s all He ever asked.
Just keep talking to Him,
even when you can’t feel a thing.
He’ll bring the feeling back
in His time,
in His way,
in His tenderness.
