“How to Know It’s REALLY Jesus Speaking to You”

(Based on Video #8 — “Talk With Jesus Daily” Series)

Hello friends.
It’s me again…
just a simple old man from the sticks,
sitting with an open Bible, a Book of Mormon,
and a heart that has slowly, painfully,
learned how to tell the difference between God’s voice
and everything else.

And that’s the whole point of Video 8:

How do you know when the voice you’re hearing
is really Him?

Not your own thoughts.
Not wishful thinking.
Not fear.
Not guilt.
Not your imagination.

But Jesus.

Today’s message is simple, but it will change your walk with Christ forever.

Let’s step right into it.

🔊 1) Jesus Has a Signature Voice — and It Never Changes

Just like a mother knows her baby’s cry…
and a sheep knows the shepherd’s call…
your spirit knows Christ’s voice.

Jesus said:

“My sheep hear My voice… and they follow Me.”
— John 10:27

His voice always carries the same spiritual fingerprints:

✔ Peace

✔ Clarity

✔ Love

✔ Hope

✔ Pure intelligence

✔ Light

✔ Calm courage

✔ A desire to do good

These are the fruits of His voice.

The Book of Mormon says the Spirit:

“Invites and entices to do good continually.”
— Moroni 7:13

That’s Him.

Every time.

⚠️ 2) The Enemy Mimics — But He Can’t Fake the Fruits

Satan has a voice too.

And it also has fingerprints:

✘ Fear

✘ Panic

✘ Shame

✘ Confusion

✘ Rushing

✘ Pressure

✘ Darkness

✘ Self-condemnation

If the voice inside you is tearing you down…
that’s not Jesus.

If it makes you feel hopeless…
that’s not Jesus.

If it pushes, rushes, or pressures…
that’s not Jesus.

If it fills you with fear…
that’s not Jesus.

The Bible is crystal clear:

“God is not the author of confusion.”
— 1 Corinthians 14:33

And the Nemenhah Records add:

“The Peacemaker whispers peace; another voice cries panic.”

You can tell them apart instantly.

🧭 3) Jesus Speaks in Three Primary Ways

Video 8 lays this out beautifully.

Here they are:

1) Thoughts to your mind

Quiet. Clear. Gentle.

2) Feelings to your heart

Warmth, peace, courage, comfort.

3) Sudden light

A moment of clarity…
a new idea…
a solution…
a scripture rising off the page.

Just like the Book of Mormon says:

“He will tell you in your mind and in your heart.”
— D&C 8:2

Not one or the other.
Both.

Truth comes as a double witness.

🔥 4) Revelation Comes in Proportion to Your Sincerity

This is where the Nemenhah and Book of Mormon align perfectly.

The Peacemaker speaks most clearly when the heart is:

✔ humble

✔ pure

✔ honest

✔ willing

✔ quiet

Jesus rarely speaks to the proud.
He rarely speaks to the distracted.
He rarely speaks to the stubborn.

He speaks to the hungry.
The meek.
The teachable.

Nephi said:

“I was led by the Spirit,
not knowing beforehand
the things which I should do.”
— 1 Nephi 4:6

He didn’t need the whole plan —
just the next whisper.

That’s how revelation works.

🌬️ 5) The Whisper Is the Proof

One of the deepest lines in Video 8 is this:

“You’ll know it’s Him when your soul settles.”

Not when you feel a jolt.
Not when you get goosebumps.
Not when you get fireworks.

When your heart quiets.

When the storm inside you stops.

When you breathe again.

That’s Him.

Even on the road to Emmaus,
the disciples said:

“Did not our hearts burn within us…
while He talked with us?”
— Luke 24:32

Not screamed.
Not demanded.
Not pressured.

Talked.
Quietly.
Tenderly.
Personally.

That is the signature of Jesus.

📖 6) Scripture Is the Anchor — Listen for the Echo

One of the easiest ways to know it’s Jesus?

His voice always matches His word.

He will never contradict the scriptures.
Never go against the Sermon on the Mount.
Never fight against the Book of Mormon.
Never push you into darkness.
Never speak anything opposite of His character.

The Nemenhah Records say:

“His whisper agrees with His teachings,
and His teachings agree with His whisper.”

If it matches His word —
that’s Him.

If it fights His word —
throw it out.

🕊️ 7) What Jesus Wants You to Know Today

Here’s the whole message of Video 8 in one breath:

“You already know My voice —
now trust it.”

Stop doubting yourself.
Stop second-guessing revelation.
Stop wondering if you’re worthy to hear Him.

You are.
You always were.
You’re His.

And His sheep recognize Him…
even in the dark…
even in the storm…
even in the silence.

He speaks.
You hear.
Walk in it.
