π️ Abide With Me
π΅ Listen First (recommended)
Before you read, take a few minutes and listen to
Abide With Me
Sit quietly if you can…
and let the words settle slowly.

π️ Abide With Me
What if we were never meant to walk alone?
Have you ever felt…
like you were walking through something…
and no one really understood?
Even with people around…
there can still be a quiet kind of loneliness.
And then this hymn comes along…
and gently asks:
“Abide with me.”
πΏ What Does It Mean to Abide?
Is it just visiting?
Checking in once in a while?
Or is it something deeper?
Staying.
Remaining.
Being there… no matter what.
πͺΆ When the Light Feels Low
The hymn speaks of evening.
Of shadows.
Of things fading.
What do we do in those moments?
When strength feels low?
When answers don’t come?
Do we try harder?
Or is there something quieter being offered?
π️ A Different Kind of Help
What if the answer isn’t always fixing everything?
What if sometimes…
it’s simply not being alone in it?
What if God’s greatest gift in certain moments…
is His presence?
π A Quiet Question
When you walk through your hardest days…
what would it feel like…
to know He’s not just watching—
but walking with you?
Not ahead of you.
Not behind you.
But right there.
πͺΆ And Something More…
There are moments when I’ve wondered…
whether that companionship is even fuller than we realize.
Whether heaven itself…
is more relational…
more connected…
more complete…
than we’ve always described.
I don’t try to define that.
I just notice the feeling.
πΏ The Nemenhah Echo
In the Nemenhah records,
there’s a deep sense of relationship.
Of life not being lived alone.
Of people walking together.
Of love that nurtures and sustains.
Not distant.
Not disconnected.
But close.
π️ If I Could Leave One Thought
Maybe we were never meant to carry life by ourselves.
Maybe the invitation has always been:
“Let Me stay with you.”
