🛞 The Medicine Wheel: Learning to Think Like the Peacemaker

Image
🛞 The Medicine Wheel: Learning to Think Like the Peacemaker "We are all relations." Those four simple words have been echoing in my mind since our recent Way Walking class. For years I thought the Medicine Wheel was simply a Native American symbol. Now I'm beginning to understand that it is much more than a symbol—it is a way of thinking , a way of making decisions, and a way of walking with the Peacemaker. Listen to the NEW Dialog Song:    Walk It Around The Wheel ðŸŒŋ Don't React... Walk the Wheel One of the most important things I learned was this: When we receive an impression, an idea, a revelation, or face a difficult decision, our first responsibility is not to react. Instead... Place it in the center of the Medicine Wheel. Think about it. Gather information. Ask questions. Challenge your assumptions. Consider who may be affected. Then seek confirmation from the Haymenhay . That was a new thought for me. Many of us have been taught to ask immediately, "Is...

ðŸŠķ The Story Behind the Nemenhah Sacred Records

ðŸŠķ The Story Behind the Nemenhah Sacred Records Listen to the NEW Intro Dialog here:    The Nemenhah Sacred Records How Were These Ancient Records Brought Forth? "Every good gift, and every perfect gift, is from above..." — James 1:17 🌄 The Question Everyone Asks Whenever someone first hears about the Nemenhah Sacred Records , one question almost always follows: "Where did these records come from?" It's a fair question. I asked it too. The story is unlike anything I had ever heard. ðŸŒŋ It Didn't Begin With a Publishing Company According to Chief Cloudpiler , the work did not begin with scholars, historians, or archaeologists. It began with prayer. Years before artificial intelligence... before online publishing... before social media... Cloudpiler describes being prepared through difficult experiences and deep spiritual seeking. He believed the Creator was preparing him for something he never expected. ðŸŠķ The Ancestors Began to Speak ...

🌄 WALKER LAKE: WHEN THE REMNANT BEGAN TO AWAKEN

Image
🌄 WALKER LAKE: WHEN THE REMNANT BEGAN TO AWAKEN Listen to the NEW Song of Zion:    Dance of the Remnant ðŸŠķ What if we've overlooked one of the most remarkable spiritual movements in American history? Most people have heard of the Ghost Dance. Few know where it began. Even fewer know that newspapers in 1890 reported that Native Americans near Walker Lake, Nevada, testified that the Messiah had appeared among them. Whether someone accepts those reports or not, one thing is certain: A remarkable spiritual awakening spread across Native America, calling people to prayer, peace, repentance, and hope during one of the darkest periods in their history. I believe that story deserves to be remembered. 🌅 Walker Lake, Nevada Near the quiet waters of Walker Lake lived a Northern Paiute man named Wovoka . After a profound spiritual experience, he began teaching a simple message: ðŸĪ Love one another. 🙏 Pray. 🕊️ Live honestly. ⚖️ Stop fighting. 🌎 Prepare for the renewal of the ea...

He Called Us Foreign Strangers

Image
He Called Us Foreign Strangers Listen to the NEW Song of Zion:    HE Called Us Foreign Strangers The other morning I was sitting with my scriptures and a cup of hot chocolate when I came across a phrase that made me stop. Foreign Strangers. I leaned back in my chair and thought, Now that's an interesting way to describe people. For a minute, I wondered if I should even keep reading. Then I did. The more I read, the more I realized they weren't trying to offend anyone. They were simply describing people who would someday come across the great waters to a land that wasn't originally theirs. Then I had one of those moments where I just sat there quietly. I thought... "Hey...that's you." My ancestors came from somewhere else. Most of yours probably did too. In a very real sense, we are the foreign strangers. But here's the part that touched my heart. The record wasn't written to condemn us. It was written to prepare us. It says there would be people who ...

🏛️ THE RESTORATION NEVER ENDED

Image
🏛️ THE RESTORATION NEVER ENDED Perhaps Joseph Smith Was Pointing Us Somewhere Even Greater "Follow the Voice... not merely the messenger." Listen to the NEW Song of Zion:    He Was Always Calling 🌄 A THOUGHT THAT WOULDN'T LEAVE ME Recently I listened to a presentation asking a simple but profound question: Has LDS doctrine changed since Joseph Smith? The presentation shared numerous historical examples that suggest some teachings and practices evolved over time. But as I listened, something much bigger settled into my heart. The real question isn't... "What changed?" The real question is... "What was Joseph trying to restore in the first place?" 📖 JOSEPH'S GREATEST INVITATION As I study Joseph Smith's teachings, I don't see a man trying to create followers of himself. I see a prophet constantly pointing people to Jesus Christ. Not just to believe in Him. Not just to worship Him. But to know Him. Joseph taught ab...

🧚 She Wove Baskets

🧚 She Wove Baskets Listen to the New Song of Zion:    She Wove Baskets Isabel and Corianton A Love Story About Mercy, Redemption, and Seeing People Through the Savior's Eyes June 29, 2026 Hello, my friends. It's me again... Just the old man from the sticks. I've been thinking about one of the most misunderstood love stories I've ever read. Most of us grew up hearing only one side of it. A young missionary... A woman with a difficult past... A father who believed the worst... And a story that seemed to end in disappointment. But what if there was more to it? What if the greatest miracle wasn't someone's fall... but someone's redemption? 🧚 The Basket Weaver The Nemenhah record tells of a woman named Itsahbehl . She had made mistakes. She carried scars. But she had also done something many people never noticed... She repented. She opened her home. She welcomed those who taught about the Peacemaker. She fed them. She served them. And she quietly sat weavin...

ðŸŠķ MOHRHOHNAHYAH: The Wounded Warrior Who Found Peace

Image
ðŸŠķ MOHRHOHNAHYAH: The Wounded Warrior Who Found Peace Listen to the New Song of Zion:     Mohrhohnahyah Recently I listened to a study session by Cloudpiler, one of the translators of the Nemenhah Records. The subject was the Medicine Wheel. Going into it, I expected a discussion about symbols, directions, sacred objects, and ceremony. What I found was something much deeper. At the heart of the teaching was Mohrhohnahyah . Many readers of the Book of Mormon will immediately recognize another name for him: Moroni. Yes, the same Moroni who completed the Book of Mormon record. The same Moroni who wandered alone after the destruction of his people. The same Moroni who later appeared as an angel to Joseph Smith. The same Angel Moroni whose figure stands atop many Latter-day Saint temples. According to the Nemenhah Records, after the great wars and destruction of his people, Moroni lived among the Nemenhah people and became known by the name Mohrhohnahyah . Wh...

Lord, What Would You Have Me Do Today?

Image
Lord, What Would You Have Me Do Today? Learning to Walk the Way with Jesus Christ "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart... and he shall direct thy paths." — Proverbs 3:5–6 Listen to the New Narration and Song:    What Would You Have Me Do Today One Simple Question That Can Change Your Life What if every morning began with one sincere prayer? "Lord, what would You have me do today?" Not next year. Not ten years from now. Today. We often spend so much time trying to understand every prophecy, every doctrine, every mystery, and every controversy that we sometimes overlook the simple invitation Jesus extends to every disciple: Follow Me. That invitation begins one day at a time. The Pattern Throughout Scripture The Lord has seldom revealed an entire lifetime at once. Instead, He has almost always given enough light for the next step. Abraham left home without knowing where he would end up. Nephi built a ship one piece at a time. The brother of Jared simply kept ask...

ðŸŒŋ He Was Calling All Along ---- Discovering the Voice That Never Stopped Calling

Image
ðŸŒŋ He Was Calling All Along Discovering the Voice That Never Stopped Calling Listen to the NEW Song of Zion:    He Was Calling All Along Many people believe the story of faith begins the day they find God. Scripture tells a different story. The story begins long before that. It begins with God seeking us. Long before we ever learned to pray... He was listening. Long before we searched for Him... He was searching for us. Long before we recognized His voice... He already knew our name. Perhaps that is the greatest discovery any disciple ever makes. We were never searching alone. The First Voice in the Garden The first question ever asked in Scripture was not spoken by man. It was spoken by God. After Adam and Eve hid among the trees, the Lord came walking in the garden and called, "Where art thou?" God already knew where Adam was. The question was not asked for God's benefit. It was asked for Adam's. The Father has been calling wandering children ever since. Not becau...

🌅 He Met Me There --- Sometimes the Quiet Places Become Holy Ground

Image
🌅 He Met Me There Sometimes the Quiet Places Become Holy Ground Listen to the NEW Song of Zion:    HE Met Me There There are moments in life we would never choose. Moments that interrupt everything. Plans change. Strength disappears. The future suddenly becomes uncertain. If someone had asked me years ago how I expected to spend this season of my life, I would never have described it this way. I was busy. I enjoyed life. Golf courses. Schedules. Projects. Always moving toward the next thing. Then everything stopped. Back surgery. Pain. Recovery. Long days of waiting. Questions without immediate answers. At first it felt like life had been taken from me. Looking back now... I believe something much deeper was taking place. The Savior was making room for a conversation I had been too busy to hear. The Invitation Hidden in Weakness None of us enjoys weakness. We pray for strength. We ask for healing. We ask the Lord to remove the trial. Sometimes He does. Sometimes... He ...

🌅 The Lord Is Closer Than You Think --- Discovering the God Who Has Never Left

Image
🌅 The Lord Is Closer Than You Think Discovering the God Who Has Never Left Listen to the NEW Song of Zion:    The Lord is Closer Than You Think There is a quiet misunderstanding that many sincere believers carry. We imagine God as distant. Somewhere beyond the stars. Waiting in heaven until our prayers become worthy enough to reach Him. We search for dramatic signs. Remarkable visions. Overwhelming miracles. Yet the Scriptures tell a remarkably different story. The Lord has never been far away. It is we who often fail to notice His presence. Jacob's Great Discovery After fleeing from home, Jacob slept alone beneath the open sky. There he dreamed of a ladder reaching into heaven. When he awoke, his words became one of the most beautiful confessions in all of Scripture. "Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not." The Lord had not suddenly arrived. He had always been there. Jacob simply awakened to a reality he had not yet recognized. How many sacred moments ha...

✨ Come Unto Jesus Christ ---- The Invitation That Has Never Changed

Image
✨ Come Unto Jesus Christ The Invitation That Has Never Changed Listen to the NEW Narration and Song on YouTube  :    Seek Him First There are many invitations in life. Some invite us to success. Some invite us to comfort. Some invite us to knowledge. Others invite us to follow a particular leader, philosophy, or cause. But above them all stands one invitation that has never changed. It comes from the Savior Himself. "Come unto me." For nearly two thousand years, those words have crossed every nation, every language, and every generation. They are as powerful today as the day they were first spoken. Christ did not invite us to simply admire Him. He invited us to walk with Him. The Greatest Journey Many people spend their lives searching. Searching for happiness. Searching for purpose. Searching for peace. Searching for truth. The remarkable thing is that Jesus never said we would find those things by chasing them. He taught that when we seek Him , everything else begins to...

❤️ Come to the Center --- Where Every Road Leads Back to Christ

Image
❤️ Come to the Center Where Every Road Leads Back to Christ Listen to the NEW Song of Zion:    Come to the Center    There is a question every disciple eventually asks. Where is the center? The world offers many answers. Some believe the center is wealth. Others make success the center. Some build life around politics. Others around institutions. Still others around personal achievement. Whatever stands at the center... eventually shapes everything else. That is why the greatest question is not, "What do I believe?" It is, "What stands at the center of my life?" Every Wheel Has a Center The Nemenhah Sacred Records use the image of the Medicine Wheel to teach an eternal principle. A wheel cannot function without its center. Remove the hub... and every spoke collapses. The center is what gives purpose, direction, and strength to every part of the whole. The symbol itself is not sacred because of its shape. It is sacred because of what it points toward. The Creat...
