π΅ Listen First (recommended)
Before you read, take a few minutes and listen to this song.
Sit quietly if you can…
and let the words settle slowly.
π️ When the Soul Gets Quiet
What if God speaks more softly than we expect?
Have you ever noticed…
how the deepest moments with God are usually quiet?
Not loud.
Not dramatic.
Just… still.
A song like this doesn’t try to overpower you.
It doesn’t push.
It simply creates space.
And sometimes…
space is exactly what the soul has been needing.
πΏ Why Is Silence So Hard?
Why do we keep filling every quiet moment?
More noise.
More scrolling.
More distraction.
Could it be…
that silence sometimes brings us face-to-face with what’s really inside us?
And could it also be…
that silence is where we finally begin to hear Him?
πͺΆ The Gentle Voice
The scriptures often describe God’s voice quietly.
A whisper.
A still small voice.
Not forcing.
Not demanding.
So what if we’ve been listening for thunder…
while He’s been speaking like light through a window?
π A Different Kind of Strength
What if peace is not weakness?
What if stillness is not emptiness?
What if the strongest souls…
are the ones who have learned how to rest in God?
When life gets heavy…
when the world feels loud…
doesn’t something inside us long to come back to simplicity?
π️ A Thought About Christ
When you picture Jesus…
can you imagine how many quiet moments He must have had?
Walking alone.
Praying alone.
Listening.
Could it be…
that some of the holiest moments in His life…
happened in silence?
And when we slow down enough to walk with Him…
doesn’t our own soul begin to quiet too?
πΏ The Nemenhah Feeling
One thing I’ve loved in the Nemenhah records…
is how often they return to peace.
To balance.
To relationship.
To listening.
Not religion as performance…
but life lived close to the Spirit.
Close to creation.
Close to Christ.
πͺΆ If I Could Leave One Thought
Maybe God is not far away.
Maybe we’re just moving too fast to notice Him.
And maybe songs like this…
help us slow down long enough…
to feel Him again.
π΅ Listen Again Before You Go
This one feels less like entertainment…
and more like breathing.
