๐ฟ THE REFUGE How Zion Prepares Places of Healing, Gathering, and Peace Par 12
๐ฟ THE REFUGE
How Zion Prepares Places of Healing, Gathering, and Peace
Throughout this Blueprint of Zion series, we have explored many patterns preserved in the Nemenhah Records.
The Four Pillars.
The Great Medicine Wheel.
The Council of Mothers.
The Talking Feather.
Stewardship.
Consecration.
The Haymehnay.
The Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn.
Each of these teaches us something important about Zion.
Yet eventually a question arises.
What does Zion actually look like when people begin living these principles together?
The Nemenhah Records provide an answer.
They call it a Refuge.
๐ฟ MORE THAN A PLACE OF SAFETY
When many people hear the word refuge, they think of protection from danger.
There is some truth in that.
But the Nemenhah vision is much larger.
A Refuge is not simply a place to hide.
It is a place to heal.
A place to learn.
A place to grow.
A place where people practice the principles of Zion together.
The goal is not escape.
The goal is transformation.
๐ฟ A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE BELONG
One of the recurring themes found throughout the Nemenhah Records is belonging.
Babylon often divides people.
Competition creates separation.
Fear creates isolation.
Pride creates walls.
The Refuge moves in the opposite direction.
People are welcomed.
Families are strengthened.
The elderly are honored.
Children are valued.
The vulnerable are cared for.
Everyone has a place.
Everyone has worth.
๐ฟ A PLACE OF HEALING
Healing is one of the central purposes of the Refuge.
Not only physical healing.
Emotional healing.
Spiritual healing.
Relational healing.
Many people arrive carrying wounds.
Some carry grief.
Some carry loneliness.
Some carry fear.
Some carry disappointment.
The Refuge creates space for restoration.
People learn to walk with the Peacemaker.
And as they do, healing begins.
๐ฟ A PLACE OF STEWARDSHIP
The Refuge is not built upon consumption.
It is built upon contribution.
Every person brings something.
A skill.
A talent.
A gift.
A stewardship.
Some teach.
Some grow food.
Some build.
Some heal.
Some encourage.
Every contribution matters.
The Refuge thrives because people choose to bless one another.
๐ฟ A PLACE OF REVELATION
The Refuge is not merely organized by human wisdom.
The Haymehnay remains central.
Families seek revelation.
Councils seek revelation.
Individuals seek revelation.
The voice of the Peacemaker continues to guide the people.
This keeps the Refuge alive.
Without revelation, communities become institutions.
With revelation, communities remain living organisms.
๐ฟ PREPARING FOR A GREATER ZION
The Refuge is not the final destination.
It is preparation.
A training ground.
A place where people learn the ways of peace.
A place where they learn stewardship.
A place where they learn consecration.
A place where they learn to hear Christ.
In many ways, the Refuge becomes a small living example of the larger Zion the scriptures describe.
๐ฟ THE HEART OF THE REFUGE
The Refuge is not ultimately about buildings.
It is not about land.
It is not about programs.
It is about people.
People learning to love.
People learning to serve.
People learning to hear the Peacemaker.
People learning to live differently.
Where those things exist, a Refuge begins to appear.
And where Refuges begin to appear, Zion is already taking root.
๐️ Walk gently.
