πŸͺΆ Work Out Your Own Salvation

πŸͺΆ Work Out Your Own Salvation

(It’s Simpler Than We’ve Been Told)

There’s a scripture that has quietly confused a lot of people:

“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

At first glance, it sounds heavy.

Like you’re supposed to strive harder…
do more…
be better…

But that’s not what it means.

🌿 What If It’s Not Pressure… But Invitation?

Let’s read the full thought:

“…work out your own salvation…
πŸ‘‰ for it is God which worketh in you…”

This changes everything.

You’re not saving yourself.

πŸ‘‰ God is working inside of you.

And your part?

πŸ‘‰ Learn to listen
πŸ‘‰ Learn to respond
πŸ‘‰ Learn to follow

πŸ”₯ The Real “Test of Life”

The test isn’t how much you know.

The test isn’t how many rules you keep.

The test is this simple:

πŸ‘‰ Will you listen to Him… right now?

Not yesterday.
Not tomorrow.

πŸ‘‰ Right now.

πŸ•Š️ The Living Commandments

Christ fulfilled the law.

So we’re not living under a system anymore.

We’re living in a relationship.

Where He speaks…

And you respond.

Sometimes it sounds like:

  • “Go sit with your wife”
  • “Call that person”
  • “Be patient here”
  • “Pick that up”

Simple things.

Quiet things.

But those small things are everything.

πŸͺΆ The Iron Rod Is a Voice

The iron rod is often taught as “the word of God.”

But what is the word of God?

πŸ‘‰ It’s His living voice.

“Don’t follow the robe—follow the Voice.”

Because the robe can look right…

But only the Voice leads you to Him.

πŸ›️ You Are the Temple

This is where we’ve gotten mixed up.

We’ve been taught:

πŸ‘‰ go to the temple to feel peace
πŸ‘‰ go to the temple to find God
πŸ‘‰ go to the temple to receive your place

But the deeper truth is this:

πŸ‘‰ You are the temple.

God is not trying to get you into a building…

πŸ‘‰ He is trying to dwell in you.

Peace isn’t something you visit.

πŸ‘‰ It’s something you carry when you’re connected to Him.

When you slow down…
when you listen…
when you follow…

πŸ‘‰ the temple comes alive inside you.

πŸŒ… Why This Feels Like “Fear and Trembling”

Not fear of punishment.

Not anxiety.

But something quiet and sacred:

πŸ‘‰ “I don’t want to override Him…”
πŸ‘‰ “I don’t want to miss this…”

It’s reverence.

It’s awareness.

It’s knowing:

πŸ‘‰ something holy is happening inside you.

🧭 Not Borrowed Light

“Work out your own salvation”

That means:

πŸ‘‰ Not your church’s
πŸ‘‰ Not your leader’s
πŸ‘‰ Not someone else’s experience

πŸ‘‰ Yours.

Because no one else can hear Him for you.

🌿 What It Actually Looks Like

It’s not dramatic.

It looks like:

  • slowing down
  • listening inside
  • choosing peace over reaction
  • following simple impressions

Day by day.

πŸ•Š️ And Over Time…

You’re not striving.

You’re not forcing anything.

πŸ‘‰ You’re being changed.

Because:

πŸ‘‰ “It is God which worketh in you.”
