Did Jesus Visit More Than One Covenant People?

❓ The Question
One of the most sacred events recorded in all scripture is the appearance of the resurrected Jesus Christ to the people at Bountiful.
He descended from heaven.
He invited the people to come unto Him one by one.
He healed the sick.
He blessed the little children.
He taught His gospel.
He established His covenant.
For many of us, that is where the story ends.
But Jesus Himself declared:
"Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring..."
Could His ministry have extended to other covenant peoples?
Rather than asking anyone to simply accept that possibility, let's compare the records and allow them to speak for themselves.
📖 The Book of Mormon Witness
The Book of Mormon records the Savior's ministry among the Nephites in remarkable detail.
Read these chapters together:
3 Nephi 11 — Christ appears at Bountiful.
3 Nephi 17 — He heals the sick, blesses the little children, and angels minister among them.
3 Nephi 18 — He institutes the sacrament and teaches His disciples.
3 Nephi 19 — He returns, prays with His disciples, and continues teaching them.
These chapters provide the pattern by which we compare every other account.
🪶 The Nemenhah Sacred Records
The Nemenhah Sacred Records also preserve accounts of the Peacemaker (Ayahtsuhway) ministering personally among His covenant people.
One of the clearest examples is found in:
The Second Book of Tsi Muhayl, Chapters 6–7
There we read that the Peacemaker:
blesses the sick,
lays His hands upon the people,
blesses the little children,
angels descend and minister to the children,
teaches many things,
promises to return,
ascends in a cloud,
returns again to continue teaching His people.
The similarities invite careful study.
The purpose is not to claim that every detail is identical.
Rather, it is to ask whether both records testify of the same resurrected Savior ministering to covenant peoples.
Other Important Nemenhah Witnesses
As I continued searching the record, I found additional passages where the Peacemaker personally ministers to His people.
The Great Gathering After the Calamities
The children of Sahnhehmpeht hear the voice of the Peacemaker, are gathered by divine direction, witness Him descending, and are ministered to by Him, His Twelve, and angels following the great destructions. The record specifically states that a fuller account of this visitation exists elsewhere in the record.
Ohuhgohuh's Record
Ohuhgohuh records bringing the sick and little children to Ayahtsuhway. He lays His hands upon them, angels minister with Him, and He teaches sacred mysteries that were not all to be written.
Tlehsiuhm's Petition
When Tlehsiuhm prays on behalf of the Nemenhah, the Peacemaker comes near, sits beside him, listens to the petition, and answers questions concerning the suffering of the people.
These passages show the continuing personal ministry of the Peacemaker throughout the Nemenhah Record.
🌿 What Do These Records Teach?
Whether we begin with the Book of Mormon or the Nemenhah Sacred Records, the message is remarkably consistent.
Jesus Christ knows His people.
He hears sincere prayers.
He heals.
He blesses children.
He teaches His covenant.
He gathers His people unto Himself.
There is one Savior.
One Shepherd.
One Redeemer.

❤️ My Personal Reflection
As I compare these records, I do not see competing witnesses.
I see repeated invitations to come unto Jesus Christ.
The greatest value of this study is not proving a point.
It is coming to know the Savior more fully.
I encourage you to open these passages yourself.
Read them prayerfully.
Compare them carefully.
Ask the Lord what He would have you learn.
