๐ฅ The Sacrifice Wheel
How Surrender and Service Help Build Zion
๐ชถ Out of all the Four Pillars, sacrifice may be the one most misunderstood.
The word itself often makes people uncomfortable.
Some immediately think:
- punishment,
- suffering,
- harsh religion,
- guilt,
- or endless self-denial.
But the deeper I studied the Nemenhah teachings, the more I realized:
sacrifice was never meant to destroy life.
It was meant to transform the heart.
That realization slowly became:
The Sacrifice Wheel.
And honestly?
Without understanding sacrifice correctly, it becomes almost impossible to understand Zion correctly.
Because Zion cannot be built by selfish people.
๐ฟ One thing repeatedly emphasized throughout the records is that nearly all growth requires surrender.
Not because the Peacemaker enjoys suffering.
But because pride, fear, greed, and control cling tightly to the soul.
And often the only way higher things can grow…
is for lower things to loosen their grip.
That is the deeper purpose of sacrifice.
Not destruction.
Transformation.
๐ OFFERING THE HEART
Real sacrifice begins inwardly.
Not outward performance.
Not religious theater.
The records repeatedly emphasize sincerity of heart over outward appearances.
The first thing offered is usually:
- pride,
- ego,
- stubbornness,
- or the illusion of control.
And honestly?
That may be harder than giving away possessions.
The Waywalker slowly learns:
the hardest altar is often inside the soul itself.
That is where transformation begins.
☀️ SERVICE & LOVE
One thing I love about the Nemenhah worldview is that sacrifice is constantly connected to service.
Mothers sacrificing for children.
Families sacrificing for one another.
Communities laboring together.
People sharing burdens.
Helping the poor.
Protecting the vulnerable.
The records repeatedly show sacrifice not as misery…
but as:
love in action.
That changes the feeling completely.
Babylon often teaches:
“Protect yourself first.”
But Zion survives because people willingly bless one another.
Not perfectly.
But intentionally.
๐ LETTING THE OLD SELF DIE
Sooner or later, sacrifice becomes personal transformation.
Fear must die.
Greed must die.
The hunger for domination must die.
The need to always be right must die too sometimes. ๐
The records repeatedly show people passing through seasons of testing and surrender before deeper wisdom emerges.
And honestly?
Most of us resist this part hard.
I know I do.
Because surrender feels vulnerable.
But over time the Waywalker begins realizing:
some things must die for peace to grow.
That applies:
- spiritually,
- emotionally,
- relationally,
- and even societally.
❄️ FRUITFULNESS & MULTIPLICATION
One of the most beautiful patterns in the records is that true sacrifice eventually produces life.
Peace.
Growth.
Healing.
Unity.
Stewardship.
Blessing.
The sacrifice of a mother brings life into the world.
The sacrifice of a steward preserves future generations.
The sacrifice of pride restores relationships.
The sacrifice of selfishness strengthens community.
This is why sacrifice in the Nemenhah worldview is not pointless suffering.
It is:
planting for future harvests.
That is a very different spirit.
๐ชถ One thing that stands out clearly throughout the records is that Babylon and Zion treat sacrifice very differently.
Babylon sacrifices:
- people,
- families,
- truth,
- stewardship,
- and future generations
in order to preserve power and comfort.
But Zion sacrifices:
- ego,
- greed,
- domination,
- and selfishness
in order to preserve life.
That contrast matters deeply.
๐ฟ I also think this wheel quietly explains why sacrifice and consecration are so closely connected.
Because eventually sacrifice teaches a person:
nothing was ever truly theirs to own absolutely anyway.
Life becomes stewardship.
Time becomes stewardship.
Resources become stewardship.
Relationships become stewardship.
The heart slowly learns how to hold things with gratitude instead of possession.
That is the beginning of consecration.
๐ชถ Honestly, this wheel has challenged me personally more than almost any other.
Because sacrifice sounds beautiful in theory…
until it costs something.
Until pride must bend.
Until forgiveness becomes necessary.
Until peace requires surrender.
Until stewardship becomes inconvenient.
That’s when the real work begins.
But maybe that’s also when transformation begins too.
๐ฟ One thing the records repeatedly show is that sacrifice done in love eventually softens the soul instead of hardening it.
And maybe that’s the difference between:
- bitterness,
- and consecration.
One closes the heart.
The other opens it.
๐ชถ In the next blog, we’ll move into another deeply important pillar:
The Virtue Wheel
Not outward perfection.
Not religious performance.
But purity of heart, integrity, and learning how to become inwardly aligned with truth and the Way of the Peacemaker.

Starting this week and continuing over the coming Sundays, I’ll be sharing a new series called:
๐ The Sacred Wheels of the Nemenhah
These posts are an attempt to visually and spiritually explore sacred patterns found throughout the Nemenhah records — patterns connected to:
- stewardship,
- healing,
- family,
- sacrifice,
- virtue,
- consecration,
- sacred balance,
- and the Way of the Peacemaker.
Over time, these teachings began forming what felt less like isolated doctrines and more like interconnected “wheels” of Zion living.
Not rigid systems.
Living systems.
๐ชถ One of the things that deeply moved me while studying these records was the role of Mohrhohnahyah (Moroni). After witnessing the collapse of his people through war, pride, greed, and division, the records suggest he and others began preserving teachings designed not merely to help people survive…
…but to help future generations learn how to live differently.
More peacefully.
More wisely.
More in harmony with the Peacemaker, creation, and one another.
๐ฟ These “medicine wheels” are not meant to be New Age symbols or replacements for scripture. They are simply visual teaching tools meant to help us better understand recurring Nemenhah themes:
- sacred directions,
- covenant living,
- stewardship,
- discernment,
- healing,
- and building Zion gradually through transformed hearts.
Honestly, this project has already changed the way I see the records.
Not as disconnected teachings…
…but as one living pattern quietly teaching people how to become a people of enduring peace.
Each Sunday, we’ll walk through one wheel at a time together.
Not academically.
Not dogmatically.
Just… thoughtfully.
Like sitting around a fire talking about how to walk the Way a little better in a troubled world.
๐ฟ I hope these posts encourage you to:
- study for yourself,
- seek the Savior more deeply,
- think about Zion differently,
- and listen more carefully for the voice of the Peacemaker in your own life.

๐ฟ About the Nemenhah Records
Many readers have asked about the Nemenhah Records.
The Nemenhah Records are a collection of writings that claim to preserve teachings, history, prophecy, and spiritual instruction among indigenous peoples of the Americas. Whether you are simply curious or deeply interested, I encourage you to study them for yourself and compare them with the scriptures you already know.
The records are available through Amazon and can be found by searching:
