πŸͺΆπŸ”₯ THE PILLAR OF KNOWLEDGE — WHAT IF KNOWLEDGE WAS NEVER MEANT TO CREATE STATUS?

Recently, while studying the Nemenhah Records again, something kept quietly standing out to me.

Not loudly.

Not dramatically.

But steadily.

The records repeatedly connect true knowledge with humility.

Not superiority.

Not status.

Not control.

And honestly…

that may be one of the biggest differences between Babylon and Zion.

Because Babylon often uses knowledge to elevate self.

But Zion uses knowledge to bless others.

🌿 WHAT IS “KNOWLEDGE” IN THE RECORDS?

Most of us were raised to think of knowledge mainly as:

πŸ‘‰ information
πŸ‘‰ education
πŸ‘‰ theology
πŸ‘‰ learning facts
πŸ‘‰ collecting truth claims

And certainly knowledge includes learning.

But the Nemenhah expands the meaning far beyond information.

Knowledge becomes relational.

Living.

Transforming.

It becomes:

πŸ‘‰ understanding how to walk with the Peacemaker
πŸ‘‰ learning sacred balance
πŸ‘‰ discerning light from manipulation
πŸ‘‰ remembering stewardship
πŸ‘‰ understanding consequences
πŸ‘‰ learning how to live in harmony
πŸ‘‰ seeing creation correctly
πŸ‘‰ learning how to love wisely

And suddenly…

Knowledge stops being something merely stored in the mind.

It becomes something embodied in the life.

🌿 THE RECORDS WARN AGAINST “EMPTY KNOWLEDGE”

One of the patterns that appears repeatedly throughout the records is the warning against knowledge divorced from humility.

Because knowledge without love becomes dangerous.

Knowledge without wisdom becomes manipulation.

Knowledge without humility becomes domination.

And honestly…

haven’t we all seen that happen?

People using truth as a weapon.

Using learning to elevate themselves.

Using theology to control others.

Using information to create fear.

But the Peacemaker never taught knowledge for status.

He taught knowledge that heals.

πŸͺΆ “To know” in the sacred sense often means to become united with truth.

Not merely informed about it.

That changes everything.

🌿 AHTAHN LEARNS THROUGH WALKING

One thing I love in the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn is that Ahtahn (Adam) is not portrayed as instantly complete.

He learns gradually.

Through relationship.

Through stewardship.

Through mistakes.

Through listening.

Through walking with Ayayfah (Eve).

And honestly…

that feels much closer to real spiritual life than pretending we already know everything.

The records repeatedly show that true knowledge grows through humility and experience.

Not pride.

🌿 THE THANKSGIVING WAY

The Nemenhah often connects knowledge to gratitude.

That surprised me at first.

But the more I thought about it…

the more sense it made.

Because grateful people remain teachable.

Proud people stop listening.

The Thanksgiving Way teaches people to see life correctly:

πŸ‘‰ food as sacred
πŸ‘‰ creation as alive
πŸ‘‰ relationships as stewardship
πŸ‘‰ power as responsibility
πŸ‘‰ wisdom as service

And honestly…

maybe knowledge was never supposed to make us feel above people.

Maybe it was supposed to make us gentler toward them.

🌿 THE DANGER OF KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT THE SPIRIT

The records also warn that people can possess enormous amounts of information while still losing the Way entirely.

That warning appears everywhere:

πŸ‘‰ priestcraft
πŸ‘‰ domination
πŸ‘‰ pride
πŸ‘‰ systems without compassion
πŸ‘‰ ordinances without transformation
πŸ‘‰ teachings without the Spirit

And honestly…

that sounds painfully familiar to the modern world.

πŸͺΆ “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
— 2 Timothy 3:7

That scripture hits differently when viewed through the records.

Because true knowledge is not merely accumulating information.

It is becoming aligned with truth.

🌿 MORONI’S WARNING

Mohrhohnahyah (Moroni) repeatedly warns future generations about societies that become intellectually advanced while spiritually collapsing.

People become clever…

but not wise.

Informed…

but not transformed.

Connected…

but lonely.

Powerful…

but empty.

And honestly…

that may describe modern society better than we want to admit.

The records repeatedly suggest that when knowledge loses connection to the Peacemaker…

civilizations begin consuming themselves.

🌿 THE KNOWLEDGE THAT BUILDS ZION

So what kind of knowledge actually builds Zion?

Maybe it looks like:

πŸ‘‰ understanding how to listen
πŸ‘‰ learning how to govern appetite
πŸ‘‰ learning patience
πŸ‘‰ learning stewardship
πŸ‘‰ learning peace
πŸ‘‰ understanding how to protect others
πŸ‘‰ discerning manipulation
πŸ‘‰ learning how to hear the Spirit
πŸ‘‰ learning how to love without control

Because Zion is not merely intelligent.

Zion is wise.

🌿 THE REAL TEST OF KNOWLEDGE

Maybe the true test of knowledge is not:

πŸ‘‰ “How much do I know?”

Maybe it is:

πŸ‘‰ “What kind of person am I becoming?”

Do people feel safer around me?

More peaceful?

More understood?

More loved?

Does my knowledge create humility…

or superiority?

Does it soften me…

or harden me?

Because Babylon often gathers knowledge to gain power.

But Zion gathers wisdom to preserve peace.

πŸͺΆ THE PILLAR STILL STANDS

What I love about this teaching is that it restores hope for ordinary people.

Because true knowledge was never reserved only for scholars, leaders, or experts.

The records repeatedly show humble people receiving profound understanding simply because they remained teachable before the Peacemaker.

Honestly…

some of the wisest people I’ve ever met were not the most educated.

They were the most loving.

The most peaceful.

The most willing to listen.

πŸͺΆ True knowledge is light carried gently.

And maybe that is one of the greatest forgotten teachings of all.

πŸͺΆπŸ”₯
“When knowledge serves pride, Babylon grows.
When knowledge serves love, Zion begins to breathe again.”
